A federal court in the Northern District of California just made a ruling in alawsuitfiled against Nintendo concerning Joy-Con drift on the Switch. Filed back in November, 2022 by multiple plaintiffs, the case claimed that Nintendo effectively shipped thousands of defective controllers to consumers. The plaintiffs argued that Joy-Con drift is a widespread issue and sought compensation for repairs and replacements of the faulty devices. The judge overseeing the case recently dismissed the lawsuit, saying the plaintiffs failed to demonstrate a sufficient basis for their claims....
