Before getting into the relaxing world ofSun Haven, each player has to go through a customization screen where they can select their race, profession, name, and appearance. Most of these cannot be changed once you start a playthrough, and you’ll have to make an entirely new character if you want to change them.

Your race and Profession can give you a special buff that will stick with you as you learn different secrets of the game. It’s important to know what each buff does and what are the best choices for you based on your play style.

All Races And Their Effects

When you start a Singleplayer or a Multiplayer game from the main menu,the game will ask you if you want to load an existing character or create a new character. Your characters will appear on the “Load Character” screen as far as you moved past the customization screen with that design, even if you didn’t start the game.

Upon clicking on “New Character”,you’ll be taken to the screen shown above where you’ll see a total of seven races in the middle. If you don’t see the races, you can also click on the first button at the top, which will take you to this screen. Here’s what every race does in the game:

Human

Gives you the Expert Crafter passive effect,which increases your entire team’s crafting speed by 20 percent including you. You might not see a lot of difference with this race at the start, but items take a lot longer to craft in the late game.

Elf

This race gives you an Elven Eyes passive effect thatincreases your damage while you’re using a crossbow by ten percent. You can easily get a crossbow during the early game by finishing a quest given by Roza.

Demon

With this race,you’ll get a Shadow Rush spell that will increase your movement speed by 75 percent for five seconds. This effect allows you to stay far away from home for longer since you can quickly get back.

Angel

Gives you the Miracle spell thatheals you and your allies by 20 health upon use. This effect is great during the early game, but it might not seem much as you progress to difficult parts of the world.

Amari

You’ll get the Primal Nature passive effect thatgrants you a chance to heal yourself when you attack an enemy. This can be great if you like fighting in the dangerous mines of Sun Haven.

Element

This race gives youthe Elemental Tap spell that restores 20 mana for you and other players nearby. If you love using magic in Sun Haven, this race is great for you.

Naga

Naga is a mermaid race that gives you the Mermaid’s Touch effect.This effect increases the Sweet Spot for catching fish by 25 percent. All the avid fishing lovers out there, this one is for you.

Some races give you a passive effect while others provide an active spell.The passive effects give you the buff for the entire gameplay, while each spell has a ten-minute cooldown once you use them.

Best Race To Combine With

Farmer

Farming is at the core of Sun Haven, and this profession willgive you four Tomato, Potato, and Onion Seeds each. You’ll also get 400 Coins to get started with your farm.

Element race is best for farmers since you can unlock a spell that can help you water your crops easily after leveling up your farming. This spell costs a lot of mana.

Orchard Farmer

This profession gives youtwo Apple tree seeds, five Apples, five Blueberries, and 500 coins. Though these items are quite easy to get by foraging.

Any race of your choice

Rancher

As a Rancher,you’ll get one Chicken, one Animal Name Tag, ten Animal Food, and 500 coins. You can directly feed your chicken or get a Feeding Station from the Town Hall.

Explorer

This professionincreases your movement speed by five, and this buff stays throughout the gameplay. Moreover, you’ll also get eight Berries and 500 coins.

Demon suits Explorers the best since you may easily go far away from home while you’re exploring. The spell from this race helps you get back home quickly.

Spellcaster

With Spellcaster,you get eight extra permanent Mana and three extra damage with your spells. You’ll also get 600 coins, which is higher than most professions.

Nothing can be better for Spellcasters than the Element race that lets you have some extra Mana.

Duelist

On the other hand, the Duelist profession gives youeight bonus health and three bonus damage from your weapons with 600 coins as well.

Amari regenerates your health while attacking enemies, which perfectly suits the Duelist.

Tool Master

Gives you afree Anvil, seven Copper Bars, and 500 coins. This is great to get you started if you want to be an amazing miner in Sun Haven.

The crafting speed increase given by the Human Race is great for Tool Masters.

Angler

This profession gives you aSmall Fishing Net, four Carp, and 600 coins. you’re able to create a fish grill with the carps provided by the profession.

Naga is the only race that can help the Anglers of Sun Haven, and it can make the process of fishing much easier.

Baker

You’ll get afree Owen, Baker’s Station, six Flour, and 400 coins. These two structures can be quite hard to build, which makes this profession one of the best.

Royalty In Your Last Life

This professiongives you a crown and 1,000 coins to get started with. If you purely aspire to be rich in Sun Haven, this is for you. Though the Crown is purely cosmetic.
