Which Answer To Choose With The Auction Painting
Your opportunity will present itself in the Hearts of Stone questOpen Sesame.In it, Geralt will find his way into an auction while completing one of Olgierd von Everec’s three wishes. The witcher is joined by his old friend Vimme Vivaldi whointroduces him to Yaromir,an art dealer.
You must talk to Yaromir before the auction.He will challenge Geralt’s knowledge of art by asking him toidentify a painter’s work.The current answer isthe merchant painting.

Impressed by Geralt’s knowledge, Yaromir will tell the witcher thata merchant at Hierarch Squareis willing to pay a pretty penny for a painting available for bidding later on.
Vimme will ask about what Yaromir told youafter the conversation. Telling Vimme the truth willmake him join the bidding and increase the cost of winning the painting.

Getting The Painting
When the auction begins, you will be able tobid on the painting.It will be the only work of art on the auction and will be hard to miss. If youdid not tell Vimmeabout it, you will win with20 crowns.Otherwise, you will have to beat his bid, costing you60 crowns.
After leaving the auction,take the painting to Marcus T.K. Hodgson’s bookshopin Novigrad. He will eagerly exchange the painting for500 gold and aConserved Shaelmaar Trophy.
