Magical supplies are an expensive commodity inThe Witcher 3.Rare runes and alchemical components are two things that Geralt frequently needs throughout the adventure, both for improving his arms and armor as well as for brewing potions.

These supplies can be especially rare in Novigrad, where the very practice of magic is outlawed and practitioners are burned at the stake. This, of course, has created business opportunities that an intrepid halfling chooses to take advantage of. In this short side quest, Geralt can secure the services of this halfling and the stock of magical supplies liberated from slain mages.

Where To Start The ‘Hey, You Wanna Look At My Stuff?’ Quest

This quest is hidden away at a spotto the west of St. Gregory’s Bridge.You will need to travel down the slope and head to the relevant area from that landmark.

There, Geralt will meet a halfling who will offer to sellthe belongings of executed magesthat he had stolen from their homes. The offer is morally dubious though, depending on how you interpret the situation, it might be acceptable to pay a grave robber for essential items.

You will havetwo choices.

Buy From The Halfling

Geralt will accept the offer but will beinterrupted by Witch Huntersbefore he can accept.

Geralt willrefuse to deal with the halfling,leaving in disgust.

The questwill not startif you refuse.

If you hadchosen to buy from the halfling,the Witch Hunters will question Geralt about what their conversation is about. You will have tocover for the halflingand lie about why he ran away to unlock the store.

While the Witch Hunterswill threaten Geralt,they will nottake any further action.Feel free to lie to them.

Where To Find The Halfling

With the Witch Hunters out of your hair, you will have tofind the halfling,which is a simple matter for Geralt.Use your Witcher Senseson a dropped bottle to pick up a scent. Follow it around the corner to find the person in question in a great mood.

He offers Geralt a discount for helping him out and willsell you the magical supplies.

He primarily stocksrunes and a small collection of rare alchemical ingredients.He is far from the best vendor, though something is better than nothing.
