You’ve got plenty of options when it comes to armor sets inThe Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, many of them offering unique powers specific to the region in which you find them. Such is true about the Frostbite Armor set, which you’ll find scattered throughout the Hebra Mountains. It’s no simple feat to find them, but the set allows Link todo extra damage in cold weather.

The caves the gear is in, though, are quite hard to find. We tracked down theFrostbite Shirt,Frostbite Trousers, andFrostbite Headdresslocations, so you won’t have to hunt!
This guide contains spoilers for large sections of the overworld map in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
Where To Find The Frostbite Shirt
The first piece of the Frostbite Armor Set you’re likely to find will be theFrostbite Shirt, as it’s pretty central to where you’ll be exploring by theLucky Clover Gazette.
The fastest way to where you’ll need to be is towarp toOromuwak Shrineand then jump off from there toward thenorthernmost of the two pathsthat lead youEast from the Lucky Clover Gazette.
Follow the path Eastward until you seea cave with two people outside, on theSouthside of this path.
Head past the sisters and into the cave, where you’ll need to contend with aBlue Horriblinfirst, and then aLike Likesecond. Defeat them beforefollowing the cave pathto the end.
When you reach the treasure, you’ll be obscured byvinescovering the nook it’s in.Burn the vines awayusing a Fire Fruit or Fire Chu Chu Jelly, and collect the chest for your Frostbite Shirt.
Where To Find The Frostbite Trousers
TheFrostbite Trouserscan be found in a cave at thenorthern tip of Hebra Headspring, which is directlyNorth of Hebra Plunge. If you follow Hebra Headspring to its Northernmost mouth, you’ll find the extremelyicy cave.
Getting through the cave is much tougher than finding it, though, asmost of the climbable surface is covered in ice, and the temperature in the cave means you’llfreeze instantly if you hit the water.
To get into the cave, hold the rockson the wall of the cave androck climb over the wateruntil you’ve reached a small land platform inside.
While Link can’tclimbice, he is able to hold onto it for a second, which is pivotal to navigating this cave. Thepillarsjutting from the frozen river arenormal rock on top,meaning you’ll be able tograb the top of these pillarsafter a split second of ice-jumping.
Jumpwhile you’re holding on to leap upwards. Then, do the same tojump to the further pillar.
At first, the twoIce Keesehere seem like little more than a nuisance, but they’re your ticket to getting the Frostbite Trousers. When youkill the Ice Keese, you’ll notice that theyform ice platforms in the waterwhen they hit it. You should end up withsix platforms.
If you don’t get any platforms from the Keese for some reason,drop a Splashfruit or Ice Berryinto the water for the same platform creation - the Keese are a freebie to let you save your own materials for later.
From here,paraglide to the small bit of landjust under the room with the treasure, anduse Ultrahand to fuse the ice platformstogether to make yourself anice bridge, thenrotate your bridgeso that it allows you towalk over the ice to the rock wallon the far side of the cave.
Once you’re holding the rock wall, you’ll just have tojump over a bit of ice to grab the rockdirectly beneath the opening of the nook that contains the Frostbite Trousers and finish the climb up there for your reward.

Where To Find The Frostbite Headdress
The cave that contains theFrostbite Headdressis quite a ways off the beaten path, meaning you’ll need to do a fair bit of frigid mountain climbing to get here.
This is easiest to navigate if youdo it with Tulin. He’ll give you a boost as you paraglide, so long as you’ve at leastactivated"Tulin of Rito Village,“the beginning of the main Rito story quest.
It’s still doable if you haven’t, but you’ll have much more climbing and gliding to do on your own.
You’re looking forLake Kilsie Caveto grab the final piece of the Frostbite Armor Set, which is at theNorthernmost point of Lake Kilsieto the West of Hebra Mountain. The easiest route here is tolaunch from Rospro Pass Skyview Towerand orient yourselftoward the Northeastas you paraglide down.
Once you get to the North part of Lake Kilsie,look for the Keese that emerge from the caveto help you find the opening amid the weather, if you’ve not yetcleared the blizzard over Rito Village.
Once you’ve got the cave entrance in sight,paraglide overand navigate to the opening of the cave.
Head inside aftertaking out the Blue Horriblinat the entrance. The cave itself is awind tunnel, and you’ll noticeseveral smaller nooksthroughout the vertical cavern that aremarked with hanging icicles at the entranceto help you find them easier.
The easiest way to get to the one you need is tofloat to the top of the cavern(handling the Bubblfrog here if you’re looking for Bubbl Gems), and carefullyfloating downward through the cavern. Plenty of the openings will becovered by breakable rocks, so be sure to have a hammer or some Bomb Flowers with you.
The nook with the Frostbite Headdress issecond-highest from the top, so navigate your way through the wind tunnel to there, pop open the chest, and complete your Frostbite Armor Set with the Frostbite Headdress.
Before you put on the set, though, beware thatthe Frostbite Armor does not offer cold resistance, meaning you’ll need to have somecold-resistant food or elixirsin order to wear the armor around the region you find it.
