This short quest has Geralt approach a sage out of curiosity, to see if the old man can see anything new in the witcher’s destiny. Unfortunately, many things soften with time. In the sage’s case, his ability to see into the future has withered in his old age. Geralt can help stimulate his abilities for a better reading.

Starting The Truth Is In Our Stars

There are two ways to start this quest; by picking up a noticeat Oxenfurtwarning about the fraudulent sage or by visiting the man directly. In both instances, the sage willask Geralt for some foodas payment for his services.

The reading fails to reveal anything new about the witcher’s fate. If anything, it could be heavily inspired by one of Dandelion’s plays about Geralt. Suffice it to say, Geralt is disappointed. The sage will ask fordragonsroot, a rare herb that grows in a nearby cave,to improve his abilities.
