Starting Treasure Hunt: Shortcut
This quest is in Undvik, an island that has been recently taken over by a frost giant. Geralt visits it during the quest,The Lord of Undvik, where he looks for Hjalmar an Craite.
To start the treasure hunt, go north of Urskar, a settlement that bridges a lake. Cross over to the lake’s northern shore. You will finda pair of banditsby a boat there. Kill both of them andsearch the small baginside the boat. You will find a note starting the quest within.

Finding Bloed Aedd
As the note states,the treasure has sunken to the bottom of the lake.The chest in question isclose to a sunken ship,which you can use as a landmark to find it. Fortunately, this lake is not deep enough to warrant a dose of Killer Whale.
Using Geralt’sWitcher Senseswill help immensely as ithighlights the chestonce you get close enough, saving you some time.
The chest will containthe steel sword Bloed Aedd.This weapon willmake Yrden more effectivewhile also increasingcritical hit damage.It even comes withthree slots for runes.
The quest ends after you empty the chest of the weapon, coins, and other items.
