There are plenty of obstacles and enemies to contend with as you playOri and the Blind Forest, but you’ll also need to contend with Spirit Gates as well. These Spirit Gates are locked doors that slow your progress, and each one requires either two or four Keystones hidden around the immediate area to open.

Each area contains a different number of Keystones that you’ll need to find in order to progress, and while some are easy and obvious, others take some doing. Our guide below has the location of all Keystones in Ori and the Blind Forest.
How To Use This Guide
As you venture through the world of Nibel in Ori and the Blind Forest, you’ll need to grabKeystonesthroughout.
We’vebroken our guide upbyareas of Nibelfor easier reading. Each area with Keystones and a Spirit Gate will be listed below, with instructions onhow to get each Keystoneto use the Spirit Gate.
In the maps, we’ve also included thelocation of each Spirit Gate, to make getting back there a little easier.
Keystones are not numbered in Ori and the Blind Forestthe way we’ve numbered them in our guide.
This is simply done to helpmake consulting the maps and tables a little easier.
The Keystone markers in the maps areeasy to miss, so not only have we numbered each Keystone, we’vecircled the Keystonesin orange as well. These may be difficult to see, but you canmake the map images largerby clicking on them for a closer look.
Once you’ve collectedall the Keystones in an area, you’re then able toput them into the Spirit Gateonce you get back there. After inserting the Keystones, theSpirit Gate opens, unlocking a new area for you to explore.
Additionally,not all areas of Nibel have Keystones or Spirit Gates. If youdo not see an area in our guidebelow, then that meansthe area does not have Keystonesto find.

In thetop right cornerof this central chamber is the next Spirit Gate. From there,slide down the right wallandjump to the passageway on the left. Climb through this area anddrop down into a small basinat the end to grab this Keystone.

From theSpirit Gate,slide down the right wall, wall jump to the left(below the corridor that took you to the Keystone above), andwall jump into a small corridor on the rightfor this Keystone.

Once you’veopened the first Spirit Gate, the next two Keystones areon the left and right as you ascendthis central chamber. They look a bit out of the way, but they’re both within jumping distance.Grab bothbefore moving on.

Push the boulderin this top area all the way, being mindful of the spikes.Jump over itonce it’s stationary to find the Keystone.

Justto the right of the Map Stoneat the end of what looks to be a dead end corridor on your map is the next Keystone.

From the Spirit Well,jump on the bounce padto go back to thehigher section of this area.Go leftfrom here andpull back a rockfor the Keystone.

Carefullycross the path of branch swingsto theleft of where you got the last Keystoneto find the next one on anupper platform.
Once you’vefilled the area with water,dive to the bottomand goleft. Just at the end of this corridor is your first Keystone.
Dive back into the water from the Keystone above and swim to theright. Be sure tocatch your breath in the first air pocket, oryou likely will not have enough to finish the swim. Diveback into the waterand go a bitmore to the rightpast some smashing stone plates. Evade them to find the Keystoneon a ledge to the right.
While you’retrapped by Gumo, go through theright doorto find the first Keystone.
Justbefore reaching the Ancestral Treein Moon Grotto,drop inand carefully navigate around the moving spiked pillar. On the other side is the Keystone.
Thoughthe last two Keystones in this area are technically within Moon Grotto, theinteractive map of NibelonSteamincludes themwithin Thornfelt Swamp.
After being trapped with an enemyand taking care of it, go through theright doorand jump into theportal on the right. From here, drop into theground portaltoemerge from the one above, thengo rightand land on thecenter section. Drop in here for the Keystone.
Double jumpyour way to thelower right portalto emerge fromthe one above, from which you’ll be able to see the Keystone.Double jumpto grab it.
From the areabeneath the Spirit Door(where you emerge from the portal), jumpup and over the area with the Life Cell, then navigatedown to the left past the spikesinto this portal. You’llemerge from the one above you, sodash downthrough this tree trunk to get this Keystone.
From the third Keystone, jump into theportal on the ceiling to your left. This spits you out under the spikes, just in front of the next Keystone.
Use yourlanterntodash jump your way around these tight platforms, grabbing all four Keystones before moving on.
Each of these Keystones can be found in theunmapped upper areaof Misty Woods as you’reworking toward the Ancestral Tree. Without a map, we can’t show you directly where they are up there, but there arefour Keystoneshidden in the upper area of Misty Woods that open aSpirit Gatethat’salso within this unmapped area.
Dropdown onto the pillarsfrom where you just finished getting the Spirit Light Container from the spider enemy and its projectiles.Go around the left wallhere upto the roof, thendrop back downto grab the Keystone here.
2Go to theright side of the gold stonehere and jump off, landing on thegold stone to the left.The Keystone is here.
Drop down from the map stoneand carefully navigate the spikes here. The Keystone is on aplatform in the upper leftabove the spikes.
In this area, thegold stonesare your ticket to navigating the moving laser on the left. Once you’vecrossed them, the Keystone will be downward to the left.
Afterstomping on the barrier to the left of the Map Stone,float upfor the first Keystone.
From the first Keystonein the area,float downwardand to theleft.
From the second Keystone, goup and leftinto ahidden areato collect the third Keystone.
From the third Keystone, gorightanddescend all the way to the bottom, goingleft through the corridorand carefully through the lasers.
These next four Keystones areall in a cluster. Afteropening the leverthat’s by the Ability Cell, simplynavigate the lasersand grab all four Keystones before moving on.

From the two hidden Keystones, keep floatingleft.

The final Keystone is in ahidden area just past the tricky-to-get Spirit Light Container. Keep floatingleftfrom there and goup just a bitto find your last Keystone.
Unlike other collectibles in Ori and the Blind Forest,Keystones areessential for the progression of your game -find them quickly, so that you can carry onto the next area.
