Super Mario Odysseyoffers plenty of beautiful and large kingdoms to explore. Each one has moons for you to collect while incorporating purple coins. Each area has a set number of purple coins to collect, with the Wooded Kingdom having 100.

If you collect all the coins, you can make purchases from the kingdom’s store and use them. However, finding all the coins can pose challenges if you can’t find them in these giant areas. Instead of hoping for the best and running around, you can utilize a guide to help you find all the purple coins and complete the kingdom.
Wooded Kingdom Purple Coin Locations
Most coins are inclusters of three or four, so you can go to each location, collect the coins, and unlock everything at the shops. You have the in-game location, the map location, and a description to help you find each one.
Map Location
How To Reach It
Go southeast of the Odyssey, toward theedge of the map. You’ll see atree with a holeat the bottom, so enter it to reach the coins.
Head directlyeast of the shop owner. You’ll find the shop owner east of the Odyssey. The coins will be between two trees.
Go north of the last coins and see them ontop of a tree. You can climb it and jump at the top.
Enter the entryway north of the shop owner. You’llenter a cavewhere you’ll see three coins on a cliff, so jump up it.
Once you go through the cave, you’ll find a structure to the right. Before you get on it,go to the right sideand grab the coins.
Start at theIron Road: Entrance checkpoint. Go to the north side of it, near the water. You’ll get the coins by jumping on top of thesmall waterfall.
Go northeast of the previous coins, and you’ll seecollapsible platforms with coins on them. Carefully jump across them to get the coins.
Head west of the Iron Road: Entrance checkpoint. You’ll find another metal structure, but instead of entering it, you’ll go to thenorth side and jump over the railing.
You must capture the nearby creature that allows you to extend. You’ll then use its power toclimb on the blocksand reach the coins.
You’ll work your way up themetal structure near the waterfall. Go up it, and you’ll eventually reach a point where you mustpush a platform up with a captured enemy.
Do so,get on top, and break blocks. You’ll walk through the area until you reach the purple coins. Simply extend or jump to collect them.
Start at the Iron Road: Halfway Point checkpoint. Continue down the path andactivate the P switch, which triggers a grass path. Follow it and go across thecollapsible bridge to your right.
Once you reach the other side, you’ll seeanother collapsible platform with the coins, so jump to them or throw Cappy.
Once you get the last coins, you’ll go back across the collapsible bridge and activate the P switch. Follow the path and enter the area.
Once you reach it, you’llcapture the extendable enemy. Go on top of the extending platform near the entrance and use your power to get the coins.
You’llfinish climbing the towerof the last coins. You’ll go up the platforms to the right, get on the railing, and jump to the platform below. Go across the bar, and you’ll reach the coins.
Return to the Iron Road: Entrance checkpoint. Enter the structure to the southwest. You mustuse the tanks to openthe entrance.
Once you do, use the machine to spawn a nut, and place it in the soil to grow a stalk. Climb it, and use it to jump to thecoins in the wall.
Start at theForest Charging Station checkpoint. Head away from the rocket ship toward the area with multiple Goombas. Go up the nearby platforms and see some tanks in front of a dirt wall.
Instead of going up it, you’ll go up the wall to your right by doing acrouching jump, wall jumping, throwing Cappy to the wall, and divingto the coins.
Go up to the dirt wallnear the last set of coins. As you travel to the right side, you’ll findmetal platforms you can jump on, so go across them, and you’ll reach the coins.
Return to the Odyssey, and jump on the map’s edge. You’llfollow it southand will eventually reach the coins. You can either jump to them or throw Cappy to collect them.
Gonortheast of the Odyssey, to the edge. You’ll jump over it and find some coins behind it.
Start at the Summit Path checkpoint. Jump off the railing south of you. You’ll find some coinsfloating in the airnear a tree. Use the extending enemy to reach the coins.
Start at theIron Mountain Path, Station 8checkpoint. Jump off the railing to the west, and you’ll continue west along the wall. You’ll eventually find the purple coins on the cliff.
Return to the last checkpoint. Jump off thesouth railing, and you’ll find the coins to the west.
Return to the previous checkpoint. You’ll jump off the west railing and reach the area below. Goacross the collapsible bridgeand climb the tree to get the coins.
Start at the Odyssey andhead south. You’ll find three coins next to a tree.
Start at the Iron Road: Halfway Point checkpoint. Go west of the checkpoint and drop belowto the yellow pole. Go east of it to reach the coins.
Start at the Observation Deck checkpoint. Travel a bit south, and you’ll find thecoins floating near a platform. Go up to it and throw Cappy to grab them.
Begin at the Forest Charging Station checkpoint. Head south and enter the ground platform, where there are multiple Goombas. You’ll find ahole in the wall, so crawl through it to get the coin.

Deep Woods Purple Coin Locations
you’re able to reach the Deep Woods by jumping off the edge of the Wooded Kingdom. Ensure you can see trees with fog around them, so you don’t fall to your death. If you want to play it safe,jump west of the Odysseyto the area below.
You’ll see a stalk with a tree to the left. Stay near those left trees, and you’ll find one with a rock and agreen switch on it.
Throw Cappy on it, move the rock, and you’llfind the coins in the tree.
Go to thenorthwest corner of the map, and you’ll find a log in the ground, so go up it to get the coins.
Followthe left wall of the first set of coins. You’ll keep going until you reach a log with a coin on top of it, so climb up it to get them.

Bonus Areas Purple Coin Locations
You have a few hidden areas in the Wooded Kingdom, so you must access them to reach the coins.
How To Reach it
Start at theSecret Flower Field Entranceand head south. You’ll find a machine that spawns nuts, so grab it and head south tostep on a P switch. Go up to reach the Observation Deck.
Once you do, go to the right andthrow the nut into the soil. Climb the stalk, and you’ll be in an auto scroller, so use theextending enemyto reach the purple coins.
Begin at the Iron Road: Entrance checkpoint,enter the lake below, and enter the pipe. Keep heading right until you reach the coins below.
Begin at theIron Mountain Path, Station 8checkpoint. Head east, go down the slope and go on the platform to the right. Go across it, stand beneath the golden coins, and wall jump up them. Head left and enter the door.
In this area,press the P switch. Follow the grass path and press another P switch. Follow it, and you’ll eventually reach the purple coins on the metal structure.
Start at the Iron Mountain Path, Station 8 checkpoint. Head east of the area and drop to the place below. You must grab the flowers below, use them to run up the ramp, andstick to the right side.
Enter the door with the hat on it. Go forward,break the cage with the tank, and go on the P switch. Do the same on the next platform, then shoot the purple coins in the air to get them.
