MInecraft Legendsputs a new spin on classic Minecraft resources. Instead of mining individual blocks, you’ll be sending the Allays - helpful fairies - to collect large quantities of the materials that you’ll need. Just like the original game, some resources are plentiful while others take some serious searching in order to dig up.

It doesn’t matter what your overall strategy for defeating the piglins might be - sooner or later, you’re going to need every resource in the game if you want to save the Overworld. Use this guide to find them all whenever you need them!

Village Chests
The most reliable way to stock up on resources is tokeep all the Villages on the map safeand empty their chests often. As long as the Villagers aren’t captured, they’ll gather resources for you and place them in the chest by the Fountain.
Each Village gathersWood, Stone, and Lapisplus one extra resource -Iron, Coal, Redstone, or Diamond.you’re able to see what the bonus resource is byhovering over each Village on the Map Screen.
When a Village’s chest is full, nothing else will be added to it until you empty it out. You can build an Improvement at the Well of Fates thatconnects all the Village Chests,allowing you to take everything from all of them just by visiting one. However, each chest isstill limited by its own capacity- Villages can’t share space in their chests.
If the piglins conquer a Village, they’llsteal everything in that Village’s chest. Even if you reclaim the Village, those resources are gone for good!
How To Get Wood And Stone
The most basic resources are Wood and Stone. They’re used for almost everything! They’re also the main material for spawning your essential, basic troops -Plank Golems and Cobblestone Golems.
Wood and Stone are virtually everywhere, so you’ll rarely have to worry about running out. They’reespecially plentiful in the area around the Well of Fates.Out in the world,Badlands and Dry Savannatend to havemore Stone than Wood, whileJungles and Forestshavemore Wood than Stone.
How To Get Iron, Coal, Diamond, and Redstone
These valuable materials are found in small veins across the Overworld. They’re pretty rare, so you’ll have to combine exploration and Villager gathering to get the amounts you’ll need. Use this handy chart to quickly reference how to find them:
The Zombie Homestead usually has large deposits of Redstone, making it a good place to stop before attacking a piglin base!

How To Get Gold And Lapis
These are the rarest minerals of all in Minecraft Legends. You’ll only be able to get them bywinning battles against the piglins.
How To Get Prismarine
Prismarine is an extremely important resource, as it’s required tobuild improvements at the Well Of Fate.You can only get it by winning battles in the war against the piglins, either bydefending Villagesor attacking Nether Outposts and Bases!
Each time the piglins launch an attack against a Village, you can fight them off if you arrive in time. If you successfully hold the Village until the timer runs out and defeat any leftover enemies, all without the Village Fountain being destroyed, the Villagers willplace Prismarine in the Village Chestfor you to collect.
Whenever you destroy a piglin building, it will dropeither Prismarine or Gold.Unlike other resources, you have to be near Gold, Prismarine, and Lapis dropped by piglins to pick it up. It willvanish quickly after it’s dropped, so be careful not to miss out!
If you destroy a Portal, all the buildings in the Portal’s base that are still standing will automatically be destroyed; run around the ruins to scoop up the Prismarine that they drop before it vanishes!
