River City Girls 2isn’t all about kicking students in the face or wrestling against tiger-faced brawlers; there’s also plenty of exploration and side quests. Some side quests let you have access to the collectibles of the game, and one of those collectibles is a lovely one: cats.

There are 20 little kittens spread throughout the map and, even if they aren’t well hidden, it’s hard to locate them all. Hence why here’s a guide on how to find all the cats in River City Girls 2.
Before You Begin
Before starting to hunt kittens through River City, you first must start the“Search and Rescute” side quest.To do it, you have togo to Uptown and move to the Feline Good store. Then,talk with Mihoko, and she’ll ask you to find her missing kittens.
Crosstown
Cat #1
Go to Capitol Ave. zone, the one where you’ll find your hideout, also known as Kyoko’s house.There’s a big tree in the small park on the left; go there and climb it.
Cat #2
Go to Capitol Ave. Bridge, the zone below the one where Kyoko’s house is.Cross through the bridge, and you’ll eventually find the cat, which is stepped on the guardrail.
Cat #3
Move to the Town Square zone, the one with fountains and the bank in it. If you go all the way to the right,you’ll find a brown platform. Jump there and you’ll see the cat.
To reach the cat,you must do a wall jump. You can do it by jumping toward the opposite wall of where you want to land. This will make your chosen character stick to the wall for a small moment; that’s when you have to jump toward the zone you want to reach.
Cat #4
This cat is in the mall, exactly in theFood Court, where you’ll find theTea Party shop. It is hidden next to the Tea Party and the door that leads to the Mall Exit zone, at the right.
Cat #5
From the previous cat, nowget into the Mall Exit zone. Here you’ll findtwo tall rock pillars and a smaller one; the cat is stepped on the tall pillar at the right.
Cat #6
Go to the Parking Garage, the zone that gives you access to Uptown and Downtown.Go all the way to the right until finding a tollbooth. Here, you’ll find the cat, but you have to do a wall jump to reach it.
Uptown
There’s only a cat in Uptown. The little thing is hidden in theFashion District, on the roof of the Spicy Subject shop.
Downtown
Go to the Farmers Market, and thengo to the right until finding an accessible door. You can climb on the roof of the door, and then you can step on the window frames. Go all the way to the top to find the cat.
Go to the Apartmentsand get on the fourth floor.The cat is hidden in the elevator.
Go to the Subway Tunnel.Here,you’ll find a train; the cat is on the control board, which can be found if you go all the way to the right.
Flatirons
Go to the Amusement Park.Here,you’ll find a shop named Jewel of the Vile; there’s a wall next to the shop you can climb on. As you get there, jump to the top of the shop, and you’ll find the cat.
Go to the Overgrown Zoo.There’sa tree in the central part of the zonestuck to a fence you can climb on. The cat is at the top of the tree.
Go to the Graveyard and then move to the upper left part.There’s amausoleumyou can access anda tree next to it. The cat is at the top of the tree.
Ocean Heights
The first cat ishidden in Beach Plaza. Here,you’ll find a business named Primos.You’ll know you are there as many people are waiting to enter. The cat is on the canopy of the building. You have to do a wall jump to reach it!
Go to the Ocean Heights Shops, the zone where you’ll find the Ocean Heights Dojo.The cat is hidden on the roof of the Dojo, and to reach it, you have to do a wall jump to land on a nearby platform. Then, you can freely jump to reach the cat.
This cat is hidden on the Beach, exactly in the part whereyou’ll find some rocky pillars and a door that leads to the next zone on the right.The cat is on the top of the door, and you have to jump from the rightmost pillar to reach it.
Technos
Go to the Security Gate,the leftmost zone of Technos. The cat is wellhidden on the top of the gate; to reach it, you have to use some white tables to reach a wall. Then, jump to the left to reach the cat.
Go to the Technos Museum.The cat ison the big T. Rexand, to reach it, you have to jump on a glass platform where you’ll find some arcade machines. From there, you can jump directly to the T. Rex’s tail.
Sanwakai Tower
This cat is exactly on the Sanwakai Tower front door, exactly in front of thebig dragon sign. To reach this zone, reach the garbage container at the left of the tower entrance and climb to the ledge to reach the sign.
Get inside the Sanwakai Tower and reach the Mao Sushi Restaurant.There’s a conveyor belt in the middle of the restaurant you have to use toreach the second floor.The cat is on the right.
