World of Warcraft: Dragonflightmay be the game’s ninth expansion,but it continues the tradition of allowing you to level up your professions, letting you learn new recipes and crafts. In order to learn these recipes, special Trainer NPCs are scatted throughout the world, with each being able to upgrade your relevant profession knowledge.

This guide will reveal the location of every expansion’s trainers in World of Warcraft. All professions and skills will be displayed alongside specialist NPCs such as Portal trainers.
Classic Trainer Locations
The base game contains a vast number of trainers, with the majority beingfactio-locked. You no longer need to seek out higher-tier trainers as you progress your profession skills, so a safe bet is to visit one of your faction’scapital cities, as these tend to contain one of every type of trainer.
First Aid is now considered a Legacy Professionand the First Aid trainer locations will not be included in the subsequent lists.

Outland Trainer Locations
The majority of Burning Crusade Profession Trainers can be found in the world ofOutland. The starting zone ofHellfire Peninsulacontains most of the faction-specific NPCs atHonor Hold for the AllianceandThrallmar for the Horde. Neutral Trainers are mostly located inShattrath City.
The Burning Crusade introduced theJewelcraftingprofession, retroactively insertingClassic Jewelcraftinginto the game, which can be learned from any Jewelcrafting trainer.

Riding Trainer Locations
Most expansions throughout WoW’s history have required you to learn variousRiding Skillsfrom a trainer. This was often accompanied by either aFlying Pass or a Pathfinderachievement. Dragonflight is the first expansion to change how the core mechanic ofFlyingis implemented, withLord Andestraszteaching you how toDragonride.Despite this, you should still visit a Riding Trainer to level up your Riding skill and allow access to faster mount movement in the old world.
