Darkness over the Hanshui river is the ninth Main Battlefield you tackle inWo Long: Fallen Dynasty.This level is fairly large and open, hiding many little secrets and hard-to-find places. Later in the level, two branching paths eventually link up, but it will change your approach.

To find the eight Marking Flags this mission hides, you’ll be jumping over boats and fighting through a demon-infested fort, which is parred for the course in Wo Long. Take your time and verify you grab every available Battle Flag to rest at and create a handy checkpoint for yourself.
First Marking Flag Location
As you progress through the level, you’ll come to a Battle Flag locked by the enemies around it. To the right of this flag, there is a crashed boat with a hole in it, guarded by a hidden crocodile demon. Go through thehole in the boat and out the other sideto reach another Battle Flag.
From this flag, go down the ladder and across the path. Jump onto the wooden pier, and you’ll see a few enemies ahead. One is a Demonised Officer, and there is a Warlock to deal with. Kill the officer first and thendrop down to get the mage.From the Warlock’s position, turn around and go into the boat, killing the rat demon as you pass.The flag is at the back of this boat.
Second Marking Flag Location
In the small, circular arena just up from the second Battle Flag, there is another hidden crocodile demon waiting for you. Once you’ve dealt with it or run away from it, climb up the wooden structure to the left of the bridge where it jumped out from.
On this boat,go down the stairs and take the first left.There will be another Demonised Officer on your left anda door you may open on your right.Open the door, watch out for the rat demon ambush by the ladder,climb up, and you’ll find the flag.
Third Marking Flag Location
When you’vemade your way across all the boats,you will be in front of a large fort. There is a path to theright with a pool of mudand a single enemy standing in it. It’s the only path available at the moment, so proceed.
Continue going straight and take aright onto the second wooden bridge,ignoring the first one you come across. Kill the enemies and climb up where theside of the boat is scuffed white, and you’ll find the Marking Flag inside the cabin of the ship.
Fourth Marking Flag Location
From the above flag, continue along the path butignore the open door going into the forton your right. Continue ahead, and you’ll reach anotherlarge building with a massive set of stairsoutside of it. Pass the stairs on your right and follow the route around to the right.
Kill the Demonised Officer here, and watch out for a grunt throwing fire pots from above.The Marking Flag is directly in front of you,next to a tower that holds the next Marking Flag.
Fifth Marking Flag Location
After grabbing the previous Marking Flag, you’ll notice it is next to a tower that looks like itcan be accessed from above. The good news is it can be, but you have to fight a bird demon as you proceed up the steps. With the demon dead,open the large doors at the top.
Once inside,climb the ladder and turn right at the topto see the Marking Flag tower is across a gap. Jump over and claim it. With this flag, you shouldjump back over the gapand go in a straight line toreach a Battle Flagyou’ll need for a checkpoint.
Sixth Marking Flag Location
Using the most recent Battle Flag as a checkpoint, take the pathdown the ladder and into the fort. Kill the large demon guard andtake the second left,leading to climbable homes.
Jump up the broken houses and go straight until you come toa rooftop overlooking a Mermaid Demonpatrolling a pool of mud. The Marking Flag is hidden just to your left, squirrelled away on a balcony overlooking the demon.
Seventh Marking Flag Location
At the main entrance to the fort,which you can access through the open door we ignored earlier from the boat section, there will be aBattle Flag you can claim by killing all the enemieshere. There’s a lot, but it’s a great checkpoint to have. Go up from the flag andclimb into the building on your right.
You’ll see a bird demon patrolling the area,guarding the next Marking Flag. Kill the enemy and claim it. Just one more Marking Flag to go.
Eighth Marking Flag Location
From the final Battle Flag of the area, which is across a small boat andnext to a broken wooden door in the fort,you’ll have a near enoughstraight path to get to the last Marking Flag. Run along the route,keeping the water to your right,and the path will eventually curve to the left.
This will take you up ashort set of stairs,and you should keep running in a straight line. Kill the enemy in front of you andfollow the path arounduntil it goes to the left, ending with the final Marking Flag in front of a dead end.
