If you love moogles, the flying, Koala-Esque mascot of Final Fantasy, then you’ll be happy to know they play a prominent role inTheatrhythm: Final Bar Line. While moogles don’t contribute anything to FBL’s gameplay, a moogle can accompany your party. In addition, you can dress your moogle in thirty-five different outfits!

As one would imagine, each moogle style accentuates these creatures' cuddly, adorable look. So, prepare to gush and fawn as we begin a dressing room montage of thecutest moogle styles!
10Tropical Orange Mog Shirt
Several moogle styles in Theatrhythm FBL are fun, inspired outfits. Others, like the Mog Shirt, are blander. There are eight Mog shirts of different colors. Each one sports an ‘M’ for, you guessed it, Mog.
Still, moogles look cute in anything. So, we had to acknowledge one of these shirts. TheTropical Orange Mog shirtis our favorite because of its sleek color gradient and how it compliments the moogle’s pompom.
9Tan Puppy
If you’re a dog person like many of us at TG, we’re pleased to tell you there are three puppy costumes for your moogle to wear in FBL. We would have liked to see more specific breeds, though. For instance, where is the Golden Retriever puppy, the Pug puppy, or the Dalmatian puppy? Instead, there is a Tan, Brown, and Black puppy, which sounds vague.
Still, we had to pick one of these canine costumes for our list, so we decided on theTan puppy. This costume’s fur coat reminds us one of the friendliest and scarcest American Kennel Club dog breeds, theChinook. (And now we want to adopt a Chinook.)
8Calico Kitty
Here at TG, we love cats. We love every kind of cat. And we just want to hug all of them, but we can’t. We just love them, and we want them, and we want them in a basket with little bow-ties - Sorry, we just get so emotional talking about cats.

Ok. YouTube reference aside, picking one cat costume to feature in this list was hard. The moogle looks adorable in all of them. However, theCalico kitty’sspotty fur pattern is gorgeous and unique. So naturally, this pattern fits the unique essence of a whimsical moogle.
7Black Mage
There are several Final Fantasy costumes for your moogle, including a White Mage costume, a Tonberry costume, and several Chocobo suits. Still, one of our favorite looks is theBlack Magecostume.
So, why did we pick the Black Mage look over the White Mage ensemble? Part of it is an aesthetic bias. We love the dark tones and the steeple hat. However, this costume also reminds us of one of Final Fantasy 9’s most endearing characters, Vivi, the stammering Black Mage who finds the confidence to fight for his friends.
6Yellow Chocobo
Kweh! Who doesn’t love chocobos? This statuesque companion bird was designed by Koichi Ishii, who also developed the moogle. And now, you may dress your moogle as a chocobo! It’s like a Russian doll of Final Fantasy mascots!
There are four chocobo costumes your moogle can wear: yellow, red, black, and white. We chose to display theYellow Chocobocostume because we’re suckers for the classics!
5Conductor
The Conductor’s suit perfectly encapsulates the spirit of Theatrhythm. It’s well-fitted and formal, with a splash of pizazz from a golden bow tie. This ensemble honors and celebrates Final Fantasy’s lengthy history!
So, of course, we had to add this style to our list. The moogle model wears it well, and we love the idea of a moogle conducting us through each music stage. Bravo, moogle, bravo!
4Patissier
First,Patissiersounds so endearingly French that we were sold before we saw the costume. But then, once we saw our moogle wear this cheery ensemble, we knew it belonged on our list.
The Patissier moogle looks like the baker of our dreams. They wear a tall chef’s hat with an eye-catching red bow, a homestyle white apron, and a lovable ascot with a heart pendant. Plus, look at the bowl and spatula they’re holding. That moogle is whipping up something chocolatey! Yummo!
3Colorful Egg
FBL has two spring-themed moogle styles: Spring Bunny and Colorful Egg. The Spring Bunny suit is cute, evoking a pink Easter bunny. Still, we had to recognize the adorableColorful Eggcostume.

Seeing a moogle in a hatched egg outfit brings to mind the OG cutest Pokemon, Togepi. And this pairing makes even more sense when you consider that Togepi is a fairy-type Pokemon and moogles are a fairy-like creature.
2Spooky Pumpkin
Have you ever seen an infant balled up in a silly little pumpkin onesie on Halloween? TheSpooky Pumpkincostume essentially replicates this look. So if you thought moogles were little cutie pies before, wait until they become little cutiepumpkinpies!
Did you notice that the Spooky Pumpkin outfit includes acandy canefor the moogle to hold? We’re not sure what went into that ironic design choice. But we’re here for it!
1Jolly Gifter
As you may see, FBL made plenty of room for seasonal costumes. For instance, when it comes to winter festivities, there is a Reindeer style, a New Year Hakama style, and a Jolly Gifter style. To clarify, theJolly Giftercostume is a complete Santa suit.
We struggled to decide between the Reindeer and Jolly Gifter as our favorite winter moogle style. However, we chose the Jolly Gifter because we never realized how funny moogles look with beards! Can we expect moogle Santa to come down our chimney next year? Who knows.
