After you beat the first boss inLittle Witch Nobeta, you’ll find yourself in the Underground Caves. While this area has some challenging enemies, you also have todeal with a puzzle. Since the tunnels can be a bit disorienting, and you don’t have a map, navigating them naturally becomes difficult.

You could make your way through and hope you get past the thunder barrier crystals, or you can use this guide to make it quicker. We’ll help you figure out how to destroy the crystals without allowing them to regenerate, so you can unlock the next area and find the second boss.
Reaching The Goddess Statue
Whether you’re able to’t find the puzzle, or you struggle to get past the area where you land boss, you have multiple points to follow, so look into the ones that apply to you.

What You Should Do
Start bylooking behind you. You’ll find a treasure chest in the area, so open it with your staff and unlock theWind spell. This spell allows you to double jump.
Return to the front of the room, where you’ll find a ledge. You can nowdouble-jumpto get to it. Continue through the hallway, and you’ll find theGoddess Statueahead.
Ensure you interact with the Statue as soon as you see it. Doing so will set it as yourcheckpoint, and you may spend soul essence toimprove your statsand buy items. You should also return to it if you ever need to heal.

Finding The Ice Spell
You’ll start at theGoddess Statueto find the Ice spell. Also, you’re able to talk with the Kitty before you continue to unlock themana absorption spell.
Goleft from the Goddess Statueinto a room full of mannequins. Once you’re in this room, you’ll need to fight off some enemies and destroy a rock wall to make progress. Focus on making your way to the other side andfollow the wallsto find the pathway.
You’ll reach a room with awooden structure to the left. Climb the structure, then go to the right, where you’ll see a gap. Before you try to hop over it, you should fight the enemy on the structure. You’ll also have two enemies to the side on a cliff. They’ll launch projectiles at you, so hide behind the nearby barrier, prepare an Arcane charge shot, and defeat them. Once you dispatch the enemies, you canjump over the gap.
From here, you’ll make your way through a cave and find a new area at the end. This area has a platform you’ll go across with anarea below you. You’ll find theice spellin this lower area, but you should avoid falling, since you’ll draw the aggro of all the enemies down there. However, you’ll have enemies that spawn on this cliff area, so you’ll want to defeat them as quickly as possible. If they land a hard knockdown attack on you, you mayfall off the cliffand quickly become surrounded, causing you to return to the Goddess Statue.
Continue across the ledge. You’ll see a pathway ahead, butdon’t jump to it. Go to the left for now and follow that path. You’ll know you went down the right one if the path causes you torun downto the lower level.
Once you reach the lower level, you must defeat multiple enemies if you don’t want them to get in the way. Once you take them out, you’ll notice agiant mushroomin the middle of the room. Go to the other side of it.
After you get to the other side, you’ll find achest. Open it with your staff, and you’ll get theice spell.
Once you have the ice spell, you have everything you need to complete thefire barrier puzzle, so make your way to the puzzle room.
Once you collect the ice spell, turn around and return to the other side area. You’ll return to theentry pointyou came from and navigate through the cave.
After you reach the top, you’ll go to theleftand run down that way. Look for the cave entrance you found in thefourth section of Finding The Ice Spell. The entry point requires jumping over the gap. If you fall, you’ll need to return from the lower level.
You’ll go up that pathway, and at the top, you’ll run into anew enemy type. It’s quick and uses melee attacks to deal damage. you’re able to defeat it by utilizing your new ice spell to lock onto it and deal significant damage.
What To Expect From the Puzzle
Once you arrive at the puzzle, you’ll notice some points about it. You havethree fire crystalsthat create the barrier in front of you. To get past it, you mustdestroy all threefire crystals. However, you’ll experience a few problems while solving the puzzle.

How To Solve It
On the other hand, you may just want to know the answer to move on with the game and see what else you’re able to experience. With that in mind, follow these steps to solve the puzzle.
Once you get into the room, you’ll want to start bycharging your ice spell. After you charge the spell, you’ll want to hold down theaim button and look at each crystal. Wait for the lock-on reticle to appear on all of them.
After you lock onto all the crystals, press thefire buttonto unleash homing ice missiles on them. This will cause you to destroy all of them at once, removing the barrier and allowing you to access the next Goddess Statue.
Even though the solution may seem simple, you’ll want to remember multiple points to ensure you complete it correctly.
