This extends to Sons Of The Forest’s combat, which sees you defending yourself from bloodthirsty beasts, demonic entities, and other creepy creatures that go bump in the night. However, none of them can hold a candle to the demon boss, a powerful end-game enemy that requires a lot of concentration and preparation to beat.

8Where To Find The Demon Boss In Sons Of The Forest

Before you may fight the demon boss, you’ll first have to find its location, which happens to be inside the final bunker before reaching the game’s current ending. To get there, head to the easternmost part of the map and make your way up the beach until you come across a corpse just outside of the bunker entrance.

You should already have the VIP card with you before proceeding inside the bunker, where the horrific host awaits you at the bottom of a long and winding cave. Once you encounter the demon boss, there really is no turning back, so ensure to keep the following tips and strategies in mind.

Instead, you may opt to run like hell once the enemy appears and reach the exit to trigger the game’s current ending. Of course, some may see this as taking the easy way out. If you fall into that category, keep reading for more tips for fighting the demon boss in Sons Of The Forest.

6Avoid Luring Other Enemies

As you make your way through the final bunker, you’ll no doubt encounter ahost of horrors just itching to rip into your flesh. While it may be tempting to run straight to the boss, you’re better off dealing with these enemies beforehand as they can follow you all the way to the demon boss room.

This will make an already tough fight all the more challenging as you must try and juggle the enemies, the boss room ads, and the demon boss itself. To avoid that, try and take your time clearing out each room as you descend through the bunker.

5Use Every Resource At Your Disposal

Many players have a habit of hoarding ammo, potions, and other resources in games for some far-off fight that never truly materializes. If you find yourself falling into the same routine in Sons Of The Forest, just remember that the demon boss is the final battle.

With this in mind, there’s no need to try and minimize your bullet usage or healing during the fight, as any resources you hold on to will be wasted anyway. So make sure to throw everything you have at it, and don’t hold back.

4Go In Guns Blazing

Speaking of ammo usage, you’ll want to ensure you’re fully stocked with ammunition and have yourweapons locked and loadedbefore the fight. Shotguns and explosives are going to be your best option for dealing large bursts of damage to the demon boss quickly.

This is an important detail as the longer the fight goes on, the more opportunities the demon boss has to maul you to death and cycle through its different attacks. However, with enough firepower, the fight can be over much quicker than you’d expect.

3Bring A Flashlight

Piggybacking off of the previous tip, you’ll want to ensure your shotgun is equipped with a flashlight attachment to help you see during the final bunker fight. This is nothing new, as many of the game’s environments are dimly lit and easy to get lost in if you don’t know where you’re going.

On top of that, the demon boss is prone to jumping up and crawling along the ceiling throughout the battle. Not only is this thoroughly frightening, but also hard to visibly see without an additional light source to help guide you and monitor the boss’s movement at all times.

2Keep Your Distance

Since most of the demon boss’s attacks are melee-based, you can save yourself from a world of pain by simply keeping your distance throughout the fight. Of course, this is easier said than done, as the demon boss will continually move around and even try and charge you.

Thankfully, most of its attacks are clearly telegraphed, giving you ample time to get out of the way. Just make sure to keep an eye on your health as well as hunger, thirst, and stamina meters, as constant movement will cause them to drop quickly.

1When All Else Fails, Use A Cross

While it may not be the ideal choice, using a cross to burn the demon until it finally succumbs is always an option. Keep in mind this is a long process that will only prolong the fight and most likely cause you to take damage at some point.

With that said, if you’ve used all of your ammunition and have nothing else to fight with, a crucifix will still get the job done. It’s definitely not recommended for your first attempt, but something to keep in mind if you feel you’re up to the challenge.
