Try To Capture Every Mount

Try to lasso them in the middle.

You canrun in the opposite directionto pull them away from a wall. You should try to pull them opposite to where you want to spin, so you’ll get around them.

You’ll find it more challenging to capture the mount if you take longer. On top of that, youmust avoid any other enemieswhile trying to capture a creature, so you’ll drop the lasso and must attempt to catch the creature again.

Keep Track Of Your Weapon’s Meter
As you fight, you’ll shoot Gloops from your gun. They shoot in a standard spray while you fight, unless you get fruit to change how it works. You’ll slowly fill up the meter under your character as you fight.
Once it fills up, you canuse a charged version of your attack. Doing so will deal tons of damage,but your weapon will overheat. If this happens, you’re able to’t use your weapon until the meter runs out. Keeping track of it will benefit you in multiple ways.

Fighting Bosses
You don’t want to run out of attacks while you fight a boss. Ensure you hold off on a charged attackunless you think the boss is low on health. Otherwise, you may struggle to take them out and find yourself in a challenging position.
Missing Attacks
You shouldfocus on aiming attacksrather than shooting nonstop. If you miss too many, you’ll suffer the drawbacks of not having your shots available without dealing any damage to enemies.
Having Other Attacks Available
Since you’ll have other abilities you can utilize, try totime your cooldownsaround your attacks, so you can use them while you wait for your Gloop to work again.

Use Attack Skills Consistently And Time Your Defensive Skills
Speaking of your skills, you can get attack skills and defensive skills. The skills appear on the right side of your screen and will fill up to let you know when you can use them again. It may seem like a waste to use your attack skills whenever they’re off cooldown, but you have multiple reasons to keep using them.
Since you can use them consistently, you should keep attacking enemies, even if you’re not against bosses. You alsodon’t have any resources like manaor anything else, so you can use them whenever they come off cooldown. If you attempt to save them, you’ll only hurt your progress in the long run.
You shoulduse your defensive skills more strategically. For example, if you have one that produces a shield around you, you should use the ability if you’re about to get hit by an attack. In short, you’ll want to use them when you feel you may take damage to keep yourself alive.
Circle Around Enemies To Survive
You have limited space whenever you fight enemies. You can sometimes retreat to the previous area but must find a way around the enemies. Doing so means taking them down, or running away, but you should take them down when necessary to safely explore the area, get upgrades, and level up.
Since you must keep your distance from the enemy, you shouldmake circles around the area. As a general rule, you want to stay in each patch as you circle to avoid running into things unexpectedly. Choose to either circle clockwise or counter-clockwise based on what feels more comfortable. However, you must do more than circle around enemies to survive.
The size of the area.
you may go in larger circles if you have a larger area. On the other hand, a smaller one prevents you from staying as far away from enemies. Luckily, they’ll keep following you, making the circular motions a viable strategy most of the time.
Your enemy’s attacks.
Some attacks may linger, while others go directly toward you. Get a feel for what the enemies do, so you’ll know how to dodge those moves as you run around.
The number of opponents.
The more opponents you have on the screen, the harder it’ll be to dodge them. Before you start circling them, try your best tolead them all to the centerof the screen, so none of them will sneak up on you and land some hits.

Learn And Understand the Environment
Every environment in the game has different ways it affects you. For example, you can come acrossmarshes that slow you down, but you can also come across bushes that grab you and prevent you from moving out of the way until you pull for long enough.
Spend time interacting with the environment and understanding what you can expect from it. Usually, you’ll come across hazards before a boss fight, so take it as a chance to learn what it does, so you’ll know how to deal with it.
As you take this approach, you’ll quickly determine what works best.Any time the biome changes, you should spend time checking these aspects. Some may even deal damage to you, so you don’t want to learn that as you’re in a life-or-death situation.
Take Your Time With Progression
Ensure you spend time in each area and consider what you want to get. As you go through a map,enemies will automatically increase in difficulty. The game will tell you, “The Monsters Grow Stronger…” whenever it increases their strength.
You should note that these increases usually occurwhenever you get an upgrade or defeat a boss. Look for them to appear on the screen; don’t be afraid to slow it down. Doing so can help you make a good choice and identify the best upgrade for your situation.
The same applies to increasing your stats bygiving up one HP or choosing a new perk you want when you level up. While the game encourages fast-paced gameplay, that doesn’t mean you must rush into decisions.
