Some footage from the canceled Dead Rising: Dia De Los Muertosrecently turned up online, reopening this particular chapter of video game history. “A portfolio showcasing level design and milestone presentation on Dead Rising 5 was found today by a community member, showing the game from 2017 running in Unreal Engine prior to being canceled,” a respected figure in the Dead Rising community called STiP0 revealed on Twitter.

UK Tells Games To Stop Collecting Behaviour Data From Kids

The government in the UK has nowcalled on game developers to stop gathering behavioral data from children. Companies now have to “assess and document how you will identify if UK players are under 18 and work out their actual ages with an appropriate level of certainty,” according to the Information Commissioner’s Office. The regulator went on to explain that developers should “investigate potential age assurance solutions to provide greater levels of certainty, linking back to risk assessments done at the design stage.”

Overwatch 2’s Weirdest Bug Yet Is Turning Players Against Their Own Team

Players on the same team in Overwatch 2 recentlydiscovered a strange bug that turns them against each other. “At the beginning, I thought it simply put me on the enemy team for some reason, but then after carefully checking the tab, I realized it also put both of the enemy supports on my team,” Reddit user Aleksey1903 for example said. “Also, fun fact: we lost, then I got Play of the Game and it was during the time when I was in my team. Another fun fact: once the match ended, I got put into an infinite loading screen and then it put me into another game.” Stay safe out there, people.

Ubisoft is reportedly going torevive a “neglected” singleplayer series at the upcoming E3 2023. What exactly this could be is up for debate, but rumors have naturally been running rampant, some of the top suggestions being Trials, Call of Juarez, Brothers in Arms, and Driver. I know Ubisoft has already commented on this particular series, but what I really want is another Splinter Cell game.

Overwatch 2 bugs have beenpreventing players from receiving certain events rewards. The problem appears to be affecting the current seasonal event, new challenges failing to award players the prizes which they’ve earned. This has been impacting multiple different challenges and even the loot which is meant to be rewarded for playing the recently released dating simulator, Loverwatch. Hopefully players won’t end up falling out of love with Overwatch 2.
