Abby’s Face Model Is Still Receiving Death Threats From The Last Of Us “Fans”
Despite the game releasing in June 2020, the face model for Abby has revealed thatshe still gets harassment and death threats. Abby’s actions in The Last of Us Part 2 angered a certain section of The Last of Us fanbase, and her character brought forth a wave of toxicity from man babies online. Jocelyn Mettler shared a screenshot of one particularly nasty death threat she received on social media, letting people know that even though the game is almost three years old at this point, there are still some people out there taking a video game way too seriously.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Has Added Human Dismemberment
Onto some more positive stuff now, and while its a story that features dismemberment, it’s something that those excited for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor are really happy about. One of the biggest criticism Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order received was that Cal’s lightsaber didn’t feel very powerful, as it bounced off Stormtroopers with little satisfaction. Well, Respawn seems to have listened, asa new gameplay video shows Cal brutally removing an enemy’s leg with his lightsaber.
Pokemon Anime’s Roy Is From Kanto And He’s Got A Mysterious New Pokeball
Liko and Roy are set to take over the reins of the Pokemon anime next month, although we still know very little about the duo. Fans have had plenty of theories about Liko, but Roy had been more of an enigma until now. In a video shared by the Japanese Pokemon Twitter account, it’s explained that Roy is actually from Kanto rather than Paldea, and thathe has a never-before-seen Pokeball in his posession. The plot thickens.
Scarlet & Violet Patch Will Lower Wild Pokemon Density In Certain Areas
Sticking with Pokemon for our next story, a new patch for Pokemon Scarlet & Violet has been rolled out and introduces a number of fixes that will hopefully make things run smoother. It should stop the game from crashing at the very least, as the patchwill lower the density of Pokemon that appear in certain areas, which was found to be the cause of random shutdowns.
Wild Hearts Is Being Review Bombed On Steam Over Performance Issues
Finally, we saw the release of Wild Hearts today, but those who’ve bought the game on PC aren’t enjoying it as much as those on consoles. That’s because of some pretty nasty performance issues that have been caused by a CPU bottleneck discovered a few days before launch. Despite the game reviewing quite well and Omega Force promising a fix in the next few days, many have taken to the game’s Steam page to voice their displeasure,review bombing the title to the point where its user reviews now sit at Mostly Negative.
