You aren’t resigned to relying on RNG loot, though. While adhesive may not grow on trees, it still can be farmed! Here is both the best way to find more naturally in the word, as well as an easy to maintain method of producing your own adhesive from vegitable starch.
Where To Find Adhesive
Adhesive related scrap items are found all over Applachia. It can spawn in everywhere fromresidential buildingstoindustrial factoriesandmilitary complexes. The two most common scrap forms areDuct TapeandWonderglue. each one comes in different varieties, all of which result in different ammounts of adhesive when scrapped.
You canmark certain items for searching through the inventory. Doing so will place a little magnifying glass icon next to it in containers and loot corpses.
If youhighlight adhesive this way, any junk item that breaks down into adhesive will also be highlighted this way.
Generally speaking, no spesific locations that will be more outstanding for adhesive items than others. The most effective sites will bemilitary buildings and camps. These will have increased chances to containmilitary grade duct tape(which is also a great source of ballistic fiber). If looting is your only option, try the various camps around the map.

Buy Adhesive Junk
If you have the caps to support it, buying adhesive from vendors is a quick and easy way to get more.Train Station vendors are the most reliable stores, often selling bulk adhesive, duct tape, or wonderglue. The prices will vary based on your stats and any perk cards you have equipped. Soconsider putting together a bartering buildbefore trading.
How To Make An Adhesive Farm
It’s easy, it’s passive, and it’s free;farming your own adhesive in Fallout 76is the best way to get more adhesive. The idea is tocraft vegetable starch at a cooking station. The process requires a few items, all of which can be made renewably at your camp. The resulting vegetable starch can then beused or scapped into one adhesive.

1 Purified Water
The corn, mutfruit, and tato can all be grown on your camp direcly. Found inthe food category of the building menu, each plant can be created with one of that item and some fertalizer. It can then be harvested for more of that item. As time passes, it willregenerate for another harvest.
The purified water can be generated by building a water purifier in your camp. Oncegiven an appropriate ammount of power, it will passively generate purified water over time.
Whilethe small water purifier can be crafted on land, large and industrial water purifiers need to be built on top of a water source. Keep this in mind when choosing a location for your camp.
Where to get Tato, Corn, and Mutfruit
If you don’t want to grow your own, or you aren’t growing them fast enough, there are some points of interest that have a lot of lootable crops. While all these crops can be found all over, we’ve noticed thatthese spots are the easiest and most reliable.
The General’s Steakhouse, located on the east side in the Cranberry Grove, has a large number ofboth corn and tato plantsin the garden behind the restaurant. Watch out for the floaters that like to spawn there, though.
Mutfruit can befound in Flatwoods. Two plants are over near the small farming zone, while four more are in a private garden behind a house just across the street from there.
