15Mod Of Redemption
This mod was originally known as the Mod Of Randomness but eventually became known as the Mod Of Redemption. The overall theme of this mod is to add more to Terraria’s universe that fits in well and continues the challenge that the game cultivates the more you play. You’ll have various new entries in the item catalogs, such as Weapons, Tools, Potions, Wings, and even Minions.
It throws mechanics to master like Radiation and Spirit Calling alongside your gear. If you explore the new Abandoned Laboratory dungeon, you may even encounter bosses like the Irradiated Behemoth, or the Janitor. Overall, this mod adds tons of new content for you to make your way through.
14Exodus
The context of an Exodus is a desire to leave one area in hopes of finding an entirely new one to explore or settle down. By installing the Exodus Mod, you’ll be leaving the base version of Terraria behind and seeking new lands and excitement within the game.
One of the first is learning about and then being able to craft Slime Armor. Considering just how many of them are around and how often you’ll be fighting them off with sticks, it’s only fair that you should be able to re-purpose their goo into protection. Overall, this is another great mod that adds a new way to approach Terraria.
13Shadows Of Abaddon
Abaddon is definitely the name of a demon that has come up a few times in various stories and universes, and it’s a name that you hope not to hear while you’re out mining in Terraria. The problem is that you can’t outrun the darkness forever, and soon you may have to face the Shadows Of Abaddon.
Terraria is no stranger to demonic influence, but this mod has made it a world threat. Abaddon has gained enough power to spread darkness over the land, which is poisoning and transforming everything it touches. Luckily, you can use the new materials that have emerged to craft new tools and powers while carving through shadowy forces to face Abaddon himself.
12Tremor
Tremor is credited as being one of the biggest mods ever to come to Terraria and was made using the tModLoader, which makes it easier to add to your game. It’s designed to expand the base world of Terraria by adding a bunch of new content in almost every area for you to find and experience.
Of all the main categories of equipment and objects, the mod introduces flashy new weapons like the Molten Lance, the Tiny Sai, and the Ancient Times Edge. It also adds a whole new gallery of tools, like the Magminer pickaxe, the Amethyst Drill, and even two new fishing accessories in the Crawler Hook and the Squid Tentacle.
The mod balances all these goodies by spreading them between pre-Hardmode and Hardmode, where you’ll also have to contend with new bosses like Evil Corn, and the Cog Lord, as well as bosses in the mod’s own Tremode like the Paradox Titan.
11Enigma
Enigma makes you think that there is a mystery to be solved, and it’s interesting that mysteries and steampunk go hand-in-hand. With this idea in mind, the mod adds a steampunk and industrial angle for you to explore the new mechanics and the new world.
When you load up the mod, you’ll be introduced to several systems that affect how you level up through crafting a Soul Stone and how you use potions to create combined effects. You’ll also be able to experiment with the new Mystic Class, which lets you play around with magic applied to your weapons in three different modes. The new world takes the form of the scary-looking Obsidium Biome, found toward the very bottom of the underground overflowing with lava and rare materials.

Extensible Inventory is a mod that addresses one of the most frustrating limitations in Terraria: limited inventory space. The mod increases your inventory size, allowing for easier management of items and reducing the need for frequent trips back to the base to deposit items.
