Radiant quests get a bad rap from manySkyrimplayers because of the notion that they are repetitive and boring. After all, who wants to slug through fetch quests and dungeons just for some gold?

That said, Radiant Quests can be a great reason to explore new territory and nab some rewards in the process. The best ones are even less sluggish to get through because they actually give you something interesting to do.
9Rooting Out Those Secret Vampires
As part of the Dawnguard, you can take on the Radiant Quests Hide And Seek and Jarl’s Justice. They’re basically vampire hunting with a twist of covert mind games, as you root out a malicious bloodsucker hiding in plain sight.
Said vampire usually ingratiates himself to the people by posing as an advisor, pilgrim, bard, or merchant, so you must find a sneaky way of dispatching him. It’s a little more interesting than the usual blatantly violent vampires that try to jump you, and you have more than one way to deal with the issue if you have high enough Speech, Sneak, or Magic abilities.

8Tolfdir And His Evasive Alembic
Everyone’s favorite Master Wizard has a lot on his mind, and has a tendency to lose his trusty Alembic a lot. It’s pretty funny how often this quest can come up, especially if you’re doing a long playthrough. Why is he losing this apparatus so often? Why are you the only one who can find it?
This Radiant Quest is not a complicated one, but it’s a nice little break from other quests that are all about shouting and blasting your enemies. It can also pose a bit of a challenge, as the location of the Alembic changes each time.

7Deceiving The Herd
If you align yourself with the Volkihar clan, you will occasionally get requests to pin a high-profile murder on the opposing Dawnguard. It’s a devious affair, but it’s enjoyable to take on.

All you have to do is go to a Hold capital, find a person of great importance, and murder them in plain sight while wearing Dawnguard armor. As opposed to other quests that value stealth, this task rewards flashiness — as long as you remember to place an incriminating letter on your victim after the deed.
6Rescue Missions
As Skyrim’s great hero, you carry the weight of the world on your shoulders. Both the Dawnguard and Companions will occasionally give you quests to rescue people that have been taken by bandits or vampires.
Doomsday is coming? Call the Dragonborn. Bandits attacking? Call the Dragonborn. Are people getting kidnapped? You know the drill.

Should you fail, the person in question will be killed. The worst part is that Dawnguard rescues will usually involve an individual who regards you warmly, including your spouse. This is not to be confused with the kidnapping that Rochelle the Red commits to try and get a ransom out of you. There is truly no rest for you.
5Decking Out The Arcaneum
Skyrim has arich collection of literary delights, and there are plenty of books out there worth discovering. The College of Winterhold’s resident librarian Urag gro-Shub clearly takes a lot of pride in building a vast collection of scrolls and books for the college. Should you join, he will task you with collecting Shalidor’s Insights, ancient Falmer tomes, and various books of interest.
Going on a book hunt may not initially sound like the most exciting task you can pursue, but it’s a great way to dive into dungeons and locations you otherwise may have missed. Plus, the rewards are useful, and you get to read some interesting lore.

4Vex And Delvin’s Jobs
The Thieves Guild simply has some of the most interesting questlines you can pursue in the game. This trickles down to their Radiant Quests, too. Devlin and Vex can be spoken to when you want to do a job for the guild, and you can do so as often as you like.

There’s a nice variety of things to do, like manipulating the books of certain stores, pickpocketing folks, conducting heists, and planting fake evidence in the homes of the wealthy. The morality is very questionable, but there’s no doubt that they offer a nice change of pace.
3The Words Of Power
Fus-ro-duh. This one should be a no-brainer even if it takes little more than standing in front of a wall and taking in that sweet dragon power. There areplenty of powerful Shoutswaiting to be learned, so there’s really no reason you shouldn’t seek them out.
Certain anonymous friends will even tip you on the locations of Words of Power littered across Skyrim. Getting to each Word Wall in one piece is not always easy, which is exactly why you want to build a grand collection that lets you Shout your way to victory.

2Animal Extermination
Skyrim is a harsh land full of predators, and that’s not even counting the people. With bears, hagravens, trolls, ice wraiths, frostbite spiders, and more making their home in different Holds, it can’t be helped that they sometimes make their way into an actual household.
Have you ever really lived until you’ve entered a home with a literal bear just completely raging? Start praying to Kyne and tell Goldilocks to watch her back.

1Dragon Slaying For Profit
you’re able to’t play Skyrim withoutencountering formidable dragons. So, you might as well make some money and hang out with your good pals Farkas and Vilkas. In the Radiant Quest Dragon Seekers, you must go to a dragon that is terrorizing a Hold and take it down.
Should you survive the ordeal, you also get a dragon soul and very useful loot from their carcass. If you’re more of a solo dragon seeker, you can also get bounties from Jarls and innkeepers.
