River City Girls 2is the direct sequel of River City Girls. The beat-em-up style adventure game follows both Kyoko and Misako as they rescue their boyfriends, and River City, from their evil captors. While the game is full of action and adventure, it is also filled to the brim with humor.

There is no shortage of hilarious and memorable lines from the characters. Even in the heart of the most terrifying battle they’ve encountered, the teens are never too swayed by their surroundings. No matter what situation Kyoko and Misako face, they always have a quick, witty response.
10"Eww, It’s That Weird Teacher From School."
Early in the game, Riki and Kyoko encounter Ken, the son of Sabu. The pair is not thrilled at all to see Ken, as he not only expelled thekids from schoolbut also threw them out the window. Kyoko’s quote sums up how she feels about the teacher. Understandably, there is a lot of tension between the three.
It is revealed that Ken has a bone to pick with them after they won against his sister in a battle. To retaliate, Ken made it his mission to humiliate Riki and Kyoko

9.“Shut Up!”
Soon after defeating Ken, Riki and Kyoko run into a character named Provie. The girl seems to be under the impression that the two are part of the Yakuza bodyguards, following up her first threat with “I can take out a few more.”

This moment in the game shows how fearless and determined Provie is. Despite the fact that they are not part of the Yakuza bodyguards, Riki and Kyoko are nevertheless intimidated by Provie’s threats. At the same time, they find themselves impressed by her.
8"She Might Take A Bit To Warm Up To Us."
When Provie first meets Riki and Kyoko, she is under the impression that the two are Yakuza bodyguards. She threatens them, determined to beat them like she defeated the other bodyguards. Confused by what Provie is saying, Riki and Kyoko attempt to clear the air.
Of course, Provie doesn’t buy what they are saying and challenges them to a battle. Kyoko tries to befriend Provie by complimenting her but is shut down. Eventually, Kyoko decides that Provie will need time to warm up to them.

7"You Better Tell Us Your Backstory So We Can Get This Fight Going."
This quote is from Riki, after interrogating Tsuik, who has hacked his phone.
After defeating Provie and proving their innocence, the trio seeks and encounters Tsuik, who has hacked their phone. The girl is obsessed with social media and utilizes it in her everyday life. When Tsuik is asked why she hacked their phones, she claims she was paid to do so. It is then that Riki drops his memorable line. The line is funny and relatable, as everyone has dealt with someone who talks too much.

6“Please. Your password is ‘My Password’.”
Provie, Riki, and Kyoko all gang up on Tsuik after discovering she hacked their phones. Tsuik explains that she hacked their phones because she was paid to do so. She also goes on to explain that she isgreat at hackingdue to her knowledge of technology.

Tsuik also takes a jab at the trio, claiming that hacking Riki and Kyoo was easy. Kyoko gets offended and states that they were not easy to hack. Tsuik laughs at her and says, “Please. Your password is ‘My Password’.”
Provie and Kyoko run into Marian, a woman who appears to have gone over to the dark side and is working with the Yakuza bodyguards. Both Provie and Kyoko are confused, as Marian does not appear to recognize them. Instead, they are met with a dark and evil force residing within Marian.

The girls try to remind Marian that they used toshop at her store, but Marian is not moved. Instead, she tells them “The customers will soon be dead.”
After Provie and Kyoko discover Marian, they realize she is not who she used to be. Instead of a fierce, kind shop owner, they are now met with a raging monster. The girls attempt to remind her of who they are, but to no avail. Instead, Marian attempts to attack the girls and engage them in battle.

Kyoko starts to catch on that something is wrong with their old friend. After Marian declares that the girls are going to die, Kyoko states, “Definitely not right in her head.”
3"We Want To, Uh… Talk About Our Evil Plans!"
After defeating Marian, she returns back to normal. From there, she and Kyoko band together to continue rescuing Riki. At one point, the pair learn that Marian had been possessed by a spell cast by an evil witch.
The girls set out to find Primo, an evil celebrity chef working with the Yakuza army. Marian and Kyoko pretend to be cast under the spell of the evil witch, Blaire, to get information. When asked what they need, Marian tells Primo “We want to, uh… talk about our evil plans!”

2"We Are Not Cops. We Are Teenagers!"
Once Primo has been defeated by Marian and Kyoko, the pair encounter their rival, Ken. A recurring character, Ken is the son of Sabu and helps lead the Yakuza army. Neither Marian nor Kyoko are happy to see him, and they all soon engage in battle.
Before their showdown, Ken taunts the two, asking if they are pretending to be cops. Kyoko tells him “No, we are not cops. We are teenagers! And we’re here to pummel you!”

1"Why Is he, Like, Super Ripped?"
Toward the end of the game, Kyoko and Marian finally find Sabu, the leader of the Yakuza army, whom Kyoko has been fighting against throughout the game.
When Kyoko and Marian encounter Sabu, they discover that he is not his normal self. In fact, Kyoko doesn’t even recognize who he is at first.

She sarcastically asks Marian “Who’s the glowing dude? And why is he, like, super ripped?” This line is easily one of the most memorable throughout the entire game.
