you’re able to set resistances to four types of hazards in the beginning. Those resistances are Biohazard, Heat, Cold, and Radioactivity. There are 25 points you can spend on choosing which one of them your character will be more resistant to. This guide will let you know everything you need to make a rational decision.
What Is The Fifth Resistance In Biomutant?
Aside from the above-mentioned ones, there is a fifth type of hazard that you are likely to encounter before the others:Hypoxia. It is a lack of oxygen in the vicinity, and to become resilient to it,you will need to equip the Mekton robot.
Ways To Build Up Resistances
A piece of advice here is that the primary decision of choosing which resistance to spend ondoes not matter since you’re able to find the gear that boosts it. Firstly, all pieces of armor will offer a little resistance to all hazards, and stacking them over will immensely boost the resistance.
Furthermore, the first time you come across a hazardous area, you will be given a special armor quest that upon completion, rewards you withan armor set that makes you completely immune to that hazard. On top of that, you can also earnBio Pointsthrough various tactics, such as killing special enemies(Bio Creeps)or opening specific types of chests(Bioblob Containers). These points can then be used at any time to upgrade their character’s resistance by going into theMutation Tabin theCharacter Menu.
Which Resistance To Choose?
At the beginning of the game, you will come across many areas afflicted withBiohazardenvironments. In that case, investing your points into Biohazard resistance at the beginning of the game will come in handy for exploring these areas.
