There are multiple ways to earn coins inDisney Dreamlight Valley, but farming is always one of the biggest cash-earning areas in any life simulation game.
Goofy has a crop stall per biome,not including the Plaza. you may find your seeds and start your farming journey in his stalls. The two most important things to remember on this journey are to use a farming buddy and plant within that seed’s biome.

They all have very different profit margins. We have listed some of the best crops to farm if you want to earn more than you are paying for the seed. That means more money for cute outfits and furniture from Scrooge’s.
11Pumpkins - Forgotten Lands
Pumpkin farming is the most famous in the community. They are the most expensive seeds to purchase, but they also sell for the most.A single pumpkin seed costs 275 coins and sells for 664 coins. Pumpkins take a while to grow and need watering. With a farming companion and around only six pumpkins grown, you are looking at 18,000+ coins every harvest.
Think of the potential if you planted more than six pumpkin seeds. They will pay for your house upgrades in no time. The only downside is that theytake four hours to grow.
Without a farming companion, six pumpkins will only sell for 3,984 star coins at Goofy’s stall, so make sure to pick up a buddy.
Using your pumpkin harvest tocook pumpkin recipeswill give you even more money if you sell said recipes to Goofy. Pumpkin recipes include Pumpkin Puffs, Grilled Veggie Platter (using only pumpkins), and Pumpkin Soup. you may get up to 130,000+ star coins a harvest this way, but it is more time-consuming.
10Okra - Glade Of Trust
Okra grows really quickly when placed in the Glade of Trust. You onlyneed to water it once and can harvest it the same day, later in the afternoon.One seed costs 135 coins and sells for 342 coins.At the moment, Okra is one of the best plants to rely on when it comes to farming for money.
Okra is an ingredient in afive-star meal called Gumbothat requires one Okra, one Shrimp, one Chilli Pepper, one Tomato, and one Onion. Gumbo sells for 1,000-star coins, oryou can feed five-star meals to ravensin the Forgotten Lands.
You will get fast money and earn more than you spend.Okra takes around two hours to grow fullywhen taken care of. One single okra seed will grow three plants to sell. Twelve okra crops will yield 34 okra without a companion and will sell for4,104 star coinsat Goofy’s stall.
9Asparagus - Frosted Heights
Asparagus takes a long time to grow, aroundtwo hours and 15 minutes in real-time. Remember that growing plants in their native biome does decrease their growing time. Despite its long growth time, the payout you get per how much the seed costs versus what you can sell it for is very much worthwhile.
One asparagus seed costs 150 star coins. One single plot of asparagus will yield three pieces of asparagus, so all three will sell for 399 star coin. Your harvest will yield way more than you originally purchased, both in the quantity of vegetables and the amount sold for. When consumed, asparagus will give you42 energy.
8Cucumber - Frosted Heights
Cucumber is another one of thetwo best crops to produce in Frosted Heights.This vegetable takesone hour and 15 minutes to grow,in real-time. When consumed, you willgain +145 energy.
Unlike asparagus, one cucumber seed will only yield a single vegetable. Thecost of one seed is very low, placed at 40 star coins. One harvestedcucumber sells for 159 star coins. It is safe to say that this is high on the list for good profit in Frosted Heights because the sell price far outweighs the cost of the seed.
7Leek - Forgotten Lands
A leek seed will be native to the Forgotten Lands. A single seed can bepurchased for 120 star coins.One seed will yield one vegetable, which when harvested willsell for 309 star coins.You are looking at a profit of 189.
Consumingleeks will give you +228 energyas well. This vegetable will grow your pockets and restore energy to large amounts. Leeks should always be growing in the Forgotten Lands to reap these benefits.
6Spinach - Glade Of Trust
This is another vegetable that will yield multiple vegetables per seed. One spinach seed can be purchased for a cheap45 star coins.That seed will then grow three spinach leaves, which can besold for a total of 123 star coins.
The profit isn’t as large as other plants, looking at a profit of 78, but that is why you alwaysmaintain a backup harvestfor continuous cash flow. Consumingspinach will provide you with +60 energy.
5Zucchini - Sunlit Plateau
Zucchini has a shorter growth period than other vegetables. They takeonly 40 minutes to grow fully.One seed costs30 star coinsand will yield two pieces of zucchini. Thosetwo pieces can be sold for 104 star coins.
When consumed, zucchini will give you +48 energy.The profit here is not ginormous, but if you aren’t someone who wants to bulldoze the entire biome for the best-priced crop, then this is a good vegetable to plant casually for a profit.
4Soya - Sunlit Plateau
Soya is considered a grain instead of a vegetable and takesone hour and 30 minutes to grow. A single soya seed can be purchased at Goofy’s Stall in the Sunlit Plateau for60 star coins.A single seed will yield you three pieces of soya.
Three bowls of soya from one single seed can besold at Goofy’s for 207 star coins. The profit here is well worth it. You will earn 147 star coin out of what you paid for the seed. When consumed,soya will grant you +58 energy.
3Canola - Forest Of Valor
Canola seeds need a lot of tender love and care to reach harvest. If you are a devoted gamer in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you can get decent money from farming canola.One seed costs 25 star coins and sells for 109.
You can cook Beignets, a four-star meal that sells for 524, with one Canola, Wheat, Egg, and Sugarcane.
The difference in what you have to spend and how much money you get out of this plant is what makes it one of the best for harvest. The only downside is watering it multiple times, but once you do, it isready within 35 minutes.
Do note that with a companion withthe farming trait given to them, you will get twice or triple as many crops out of your harvest. That means more money. When planting crops, whatever biome you bought the seed from is where you should plant your seeds. When crops are planted in their respective biomes, they grow much faster.
2Eggplants - Frosted Heights
The eggplant is the best crop to come out of Frosted Heights. Usually, a good trick is to purchase the most expensive seed in the biome, and it will usually sell for a lot, but not in this case. Frosted Heights most expensive crop to purchase is asparagus at 150 and sells for 249. In comparison,one eggplant seed will cost you 95 coins and will sell for 308 coins.
You get a good deal out of this one, but you do have towater eggplants quite a bitbefore you’re able to harvest anything. They take a little while to grow, taking aroundthree hours.Without a companion, eight eggplants will sell for 2,464 star coins at Goofy’s stall.
You can use eggplant to make Ratatouille, which sells for 15k+. The ingredients for that dish are Tomato, Eggplant, Zucchini, Onion, and a Herb.
