If you count the Fell Xenologue DLC,Fire Emblem Engagehas 41 recruitable characters. With so many options for your army, you want to find the best class for each of your favorites. There is a lot of crossover between characters in Engage, and some are better than others.
Several classes in Fire Emblem Engage gain access to multiple weapons, all of which help increase their utility. You might be lost for choice when it comes to picking the best class since there are so many choices, but each character has an innate proficiency that you should capitalize on.

Best Class For Each Character
With 36 characters in the base game, you have several options for building your perfect team. A lot of the lord main characters in the game have exclusive classes, and generally speaking,they should stay in these for the whole game.
There aresome exceptions to this rule, which we will discuss below.
The DLC classes,Mage CannoneerandEnchanter, have been added to the game as of the Wave Four expansion pack, adding new options to the base-game units for those who bought the DLC. The table below lays outeach character and the best class for them to be promoted into:
Martial MasterorBerserker
Do not level Jean until you reclass him into whatever class you want.
Tireur d’élite
Warrior
Can sometimes struggle with Hit Rate, so if Warrior (which is her most solid class) is struggling for you, consider switching to Sniper or Bow Knight.
Best Class For Each DLC Character
If you buy the season pass for Fire Emblem Engage, you get access to a brand-new DLC story known as the Fell Xenologue. In this side story, you meet familiar faces and can recruit five new characters.Three of these new units come with a unique class, while the others have generic ones.
To recruit these characters, you need to buy the Season Pass andcomplete the Fell Xenologue side story.
