Unfortunately, this collection includes no Scarlet and Violet TCG booster packs. Still, it does feature packs from Silver Tempest and Brilliant Stars, which will allow you to pull some powerful VMAX and VSTAR cards. So you can enter the Scarlet and Violet era with powerful cards and shake the battlefield!

10Hisuian Arcanine V - Silver Tempest

Hisuian Arcanine is a bruiser of a card. This card has Irresistible Force, which allows you to move a singular fighting Energy from any one of your Pokemon and add it to this card.

Enough setup allows you to use this card’s Rock Bullet attack, which does 90 damage but increases by 30 for each fighting Energy attached to it. With an ability to stack fighting Energy and an attack that scales off that type of Energy, this card can rack up damage the longer it stays on the field.

9Aggron VMAX - Brilliant Stars

This iron giant has a massive HP pool of 330. It also has two excellent attacks: Cracking Stomp and Max Take Down. With Cracking Stomp, this card deals 150 damage and discards a card from the top of your opponent’s deck. Being able to mill and deal damage like that is always welcomed.

With Max Take Down,Aggron VMAXdoes 270 damage. The only drawback is that the move does 30 damage to the card, but it doesn’t matter when this card has such a large HP pool.

8Unown VSTAR - Silver Tempest

Who’d ever thought that Unown could be such a threat? With the Tri Power attack, this card can deal 70 damage for each head you land on when you flip a coin three times. This card can deal 210 damage with enough luck, but that is different from what makes this card so threatening.

By using theVSTAR Power: Star Cipher, this card turns every Pokemon in play on your opponent’s side weakness, psychic attacks. This effect lasts until Unown leaves play, meaning this card can apply this effect while on the bench, giving all your other psychic Pokemon an edge in battle.

7Regieleki VMAX - Silver Tempest

Regieleki shocks the field when it is in play with its Transistor ability. This ability applies an extra 30 damage to all basic electric Pokemon’s attacks to the enemy Active Pokemon. This ability is great for support as it gives your entire field a buff (if you’re using electric-type Pokemon, that is).

It also has an attack with Max Thunder And Lightning that deals 220 damage, with the drawback that Regieleki can’t attack the next turn. Still, you will not use this card for this attack, solely for the Transistor ability. However, if this card does need to pack a punch, it has a great attack that can do some outstanding damage.

6Whimsicott VSTAR - Brilliant Stars

Fitting this card’s whimsical nature, Whimsicott is tricky for your opponent. For one, it has Trick Wind that does 160 damage and prevents your opponent from being able to use Poke tools or Special Energy during their next turn. Limiting the actions your opponent can do is always good for anybody.

Then we must remember the VSTAR Power. Fluffball Star does 60 damage for every Energy attached to the card, and you may use it on your opponent’s Benched Pokemon. So when this card comes to the field, it will annoy your opponent throughout the battle.

5Mimikyu VMAX - Brilliant Stars

If you’re seeking free damage, Mimikyu is the card for you. For one, Ominous Numbers applies four damage counters to your opponent’s Pokemon in any way you like. But if you played Acerola’s Premonition from your hand, you’re able to use 13 damage counters instead.

Then you may use Max Shadow; an attack does 120 damage and allows you to get rid of a card from your opponent’s hand. Mimikyu VMAX is a great card that can spread damage on the field and eliminate cards in your opponent’s possession.

4Arceus VSTAR - Brilliant Stars

The god of all Pokemontakes their title very seriously with this kit. With three Energy, you’re able to use this card’s Trinity Nova attack. This attack does 200 damage and allows you to search for three basic Energy from your deck and add it to your Pokemon V in any way you like.

You get to deal tremendous damage and add Energy to your Pokemon for no drawback. Then we have Arceus' VSTAR Power, Starbirth, to get two cards from your deck and add it to your hand. This card allows you to set up your field as you want and deal remarkable damage without a downside.

3Kingler VMAX - Brilliant Stars

A card that will shake the field is this one. Kingler VMAX is both supportive and offensive, making your opponent groan with frustration when it enters the battle. For starters, this card’s ability is Bubble Galore, which allows you to grab five water Energy from your deck and add them to your Pokemon as you see fit. Applying free Energy and setting up your field in your favor with no disadvantage is unstoppable.

Plus, this card has G-Max Pincer, which does 240 damage, with the only problem being that you do 30 damage to yourself. It’s not much of an issue, considering this card has a huge HP pool of 330. Therefore, it will be on the field for a few turns before anyone can take it out.

2Ho-Oh V - Silver Tempest

Do you want a card that can do tremendous damage, get knocked out, come back, and do it again? Yes, Ho-Oh V is the card for you. Once during your turn, you can use Ho-Oh’s Reviving Flame ability, where you can bring this card from your discard pile and attach four Energy to it. The only downside is that your turn ends.

But that doesn’t matter when Ho-Oh will have instant access to its Rainbow Burn attack that does 100 damage, but also an added 30 for each basic Energy attached to the card. This card will always come back and is instantly ready to go throughout any game stage, allowing you always to have an option no matter what.

1Alolan Vulpix VSTAR - Silver Tempest

This card is the epitome of free damage and getting away with it. By using this card’s Snow Mirage attack, you can deal 160 damage, but the importance of this attack is different. The second aspect of the attack allows for Alolan Vulpix to prevent all damage done by Pokemon with an ability. With how common and powerful skills are, this Pokemon can get away with living longer than it should.

Plus, it has Silvery Snow Star, which does 70 damage for each of your opponent’s Pokemon V active. With Pokemon V being so standard, this card can gain tremendous mileage and deal immense damage while not taking any.
