Lotus is the ninth map introduced intoValorant, and it is the second map to come with three sites, following Haven. This stunning map takes you to India and features unique mechanics, such as the rotating door and breakable wall, that add an extra layer of tactics to gameplay.

High Tide
Reckoning
Since his introduction to Valorant, Harbor has not had a great start. The majority of the game’s community considers him weak, and his abilities are not comparatively as good as the other Controllers on most maps. However, this is not the case for Lotus, as you could actually end up using Harbor on this map.
The A and C sites on Lotus feature long-distance combat, making Harbor’s wall ability perfect for gaining control of the map in both attacking and defending. Killjoy is the perfect agent you can play on the Lotus map in Valorant, and her abilities make her incredibly crucial. With the right team composition, this Sentinel can play a massive role in holding down sites during defense and taking control over areas with her ultimate during the attack.
You can also optimally utilize the swarm grenades that she possesses after you have the spike planted. Apart from that, the turret and alarmbot can aid you in the process of locking down sites and watching out for flanks.

Viper’s Pit
Viper can be your go-to controller on a huge map like Lotus. Although the agent was nerfed several times, the Toxic Screen is more than sufficient to assist the other controllers like Omen to block the angles and choke points all across the sites.
Similarly, you may employ Poison Cloud to cover narrow choke points such as Hall, Waterfall, Tree, A Link and B Upper easily. Neon’s swift movement makes her one of the top picks for any team, and her abilities make it easy to infiltrate a site. The wall ability can successfully create a path for you, while the Stun can also be pretty helpful. Besides this, Neon’s Overdrive ultimate can get you frags and be strategically employed during Eco rounds.
However, playing with Neon wouldn’t be easy for everyone due to the high skill cap. Accordingly, it would be best if you practised the movement and developed proficiency with the agent before playing her in competitive mode.

Omen is arguably the best choice when playing as a Controller agent on Lotus. While some may argue in favor of alternatives like Brimstone, the agent’s unique ability to make aggressive plays and lurk in unexpected ways makes him an invaluable asset.
If used properly, Omen’s kit can be devastating, and a skilled player can use him to secure the win. You can use the Dark Cover ability to smoke different locations, whereas Paranoia is perfect for blinding opponents during a push to take control of a site. Furthermore, his ultimate ability allows for teleportation to any location on the map, making it extremely important when facing a 1v1 or 1v2 scenario.

Haunt
Nightfall
The Turkish agent has a compelling set of abilities for attacking, defending, as she helps gathering intel. Your Haunt will reveal the enemies, providing trails for your team to hunt them down. A perfect line-up for all sites is what you need to help your duelists to get entries. You can then send in your Prowlers that will chase down the enemy and near sight them, drawing them into an unfavorable fight.
The Seize combo alongside Raze’s Paint Shell is bliss to watch, and given the narrow choke points, it will definitely get you some frags. To top this off, the ultimate will decay and deafen the caught enemies, making them a sitting duck on the sites. Moreover, they will also be marked, making the entire attack even better.
