Icebox was the fifth map that Riot Games introduced toValorant, and it was made available in the game with patch 1.10 in October 2020. Perthe game’s lore, this arctic-themed map is based on a Russian island on Alpha Earth.
It was the first map to include horizontal zip lines, and the developers have made several changes to Icebox since its release to ensure that the gameplay is enjoyable. Ruse
Not Dead Yet
Clove hasn’t seen much playtime in pro play, but it can be perfect for matchmaking. Unlike any other Controller, you can use smokes (Ruse) abilities even after death to help your team cross the finish line. Although there are only two smokes, these should be sufficient to block some choke points like Snowman, way to Oranges, Rafters, or even Screen.
Pick-Me-Up will give you extra health and speed to get multi-frag rounds in the game. If that is not it, you can self-revive yourself with the Not Dead Yet ultimate, but there is a caveat. You need to assist or eliminate an opponent in the set duration to remain resurrected.

Devour Dismiss

Reyna has been one of the best Duelists in Valorant, and if you are a cracked aim, she might be ideal for you on the Icebox map. Her ability to heal or dismiss after getting a kill can be crucial in situations and perfectly fits the aggressive gameplay style you need on this map.
The agent’s Leer ability will be particularly beneficial during executes, and you may use it on A main or around B garage toblind the opponentsand clear out these crucial angles. Omen’s strong kit and the capacity for aggressive plays are why you should consider using him. His Shrouded Step ability allows you to teleport over short distances, and you can use it to make clever plays by going over Tube in Mid or Yellow on B site.
Furthermore, you may use the agent’s two Dark Cover smokes to cover angles, whereas Paranoia can be used to blind opponents in narrow angles such as Tubes. Finally, the From the Shadows ultimate can teleport you anywhere on the map and can be clutch in a 1 vs. 1 or 2 vs. 1 for rotation.

Paint Shells

If you can master Raze’s aerial movements, she is another good Duelist, and you will enjoy playing on Icebox. She is very good at getting entries on both the sites and her abilities can cause severe damage.
For instance, Raze’s Paint Shell can be lethal, and you can throw them at tight corners like Generator on A site to force enemies out and even inflict some damage. Meanwhile, her Boom Bot can aid while entering and could create distractions.
Finally, the Show Stopper ultimate is a game-changer, allowing you to wipe out multiple enemies in one swoop.

KAY/O, the robot-based agent in Valorant, is an exceptional Initiator you can try out in the Icebox map. You can flawlessly execute or retake a site by using his remarkable abilities in conjunction with the team’s abilities.

On Icebox, Sage’s presence as a Sentinel is crucial and adds significant value to the team’s composition. you’re able to use her Slow Orbs, and Wall can stop the opposition from taking control of Mid or either of the two sites immediately. The Wall is further crucial because it can enable you to have a safe plant near Generator on the A site and Default on the B site, which can be very helpful.
