Star Wars fans will be into a recent addition created by a player that references the movies, specifically a cult favourite character. While Darth Maul doesn’t appear in Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace all that much, the scenes in which he does appear are pretty memorable. The acrobatics, the riveting music (thanks John Williams!), and, of course, the iconic double-bladed lightsaber. The character re-introduces himself to Obi-Wan Kenobi and Qui-Gon Jinn in a rather dramatic way before getting sliced in half… not that that is the end of him. Yes, seriously, Darth Maul somehow survived, just check out what he gets up to in the extended Star Wars media.
But anyway, one entreprising creator has given the option to Survivor players to don the appearance of Darth Maul in the game. In fact, the mod ‘Darth Maul’s Robes and Head’ is one of the most popular mods for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Made by ‘calluum’ the mod patches in Darth Maul’s robes and head from The Phantom Menace. Although calluum has yet to include cloth physics for Maul’s robes the modder says it is being worked on. The mod has been downloaded more than 6,000 times at the time of writing, which is not bad going since it was uploaded fairly recently. you may find the Darth Maul Robes and Head mod over on Nexus Modshere.
