Even thoughRespawn delayed the launch of Star Wars Jedi: Survivorby a little more than a month, there’s still not long to go now until Cal Kestis’s journey continues. Now launching on April 28, more of the sequel has been shown off this week. Including a look at some of the new puzzles you will face that have clearly pulled inspiration fromBreath of the Wild.

Puzzles aren’t necessarily a massive part ofFallen Order, but there are a handful of key moments in which you have to move orbs to gain access to temples and the like. A video shared byIGNthat includes seven minutes ofJedi: Survivorgameplay briefly shows puzzles may well play a bigger part in the sequel and might be a little trickier to complete too.

At the 2:28 mark of the gameplay video below, Kestis is shown entering a structure that is reminiscent of a Breath of the Wild shrine and will remind those who have played the Zelda game even more of that particular feature once the interior is revealed. Kestis is shown using the force to move a lever which then sends a blue flame along a rail to his left, presumably into the position it needs to be.

It might only be a seven-minute video, butRespawnhas managed to pack a lot of new information in. It’s clear the studio has attempted to better blend Star Wars Jedi’s open world with the linear parts of the game you will need to follow to progress its story. There are also map markers for unexplored areas, andfurther confirmation that there will be fast travel, negating the need to backtrack as much as you were forced to in Fallen Order.

It also adds to what was reported last week, revealingyou will be better rewardedfor exploring the seemingly vaster open worlds than its predecessor boasted. Add all of the above to a list that includeshuman dismemberment, andthe introduction of an almost unkillable new villain called Rayvis.
