Star Wars Jedi: Survivoris just a handful of days away and it seems like the nerves are starting to get to fans of the series.Fallen Orderis widely regarded as one of the bestStar Warsgames in recent memory, leaving Survivor with some big shoes to fill. Nothing has suggested that the game is going to fall on its backside right out of the gates, but that hasn’t stopped hundreds of fans from sharing their biggest fears for the title ahead of launch.

First kicked off by u/HortenseRules on the official Fallen Order subreddit, they explain that they’re slightly worried about the overall size of the game, believing that some of the game’s explorable planets may be a little smaller than what pre-release footage has made them seem. Kodoh seems to be the place where the majority of the game takes place, but we know thatCal Kestis will get to visit Coruscantat some point - how explorable it will be and how much free reign we’ll on the planet is still up for debate.

One of the biggest concerns for fans responding to the post seems to be frame rate issues. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has been developed for PC and current-gen consoles and won’t be available on PS4 or Xbox One, meaning its probably going to have some pretty beefy system requirements. With games likeRedfalland A Plague Tale: Requiem deciding to not feature Performance Modes at launch, worries surrounding frame rates are starting to resurface. Respawn hasn’t mentioned anything about a lack of Performance Mode, so we’re probably safe assuming there is one.

Another strangely popular concern amongst fans is an actual fear, as u/Fanboy1911 hopes that the giant spiders Cal encounters in Kashyyk in Fallen Order don’t make a return for the sequel. Of course, arachnophobia is a very common thing and sometimes the sight of spiders can be a little too much to bear for some people. There are quite a few fans hoping Respawn has implemented some kind of Arachnophobia Mode to get rid of the horrible things, something which seems likely these days asdevs work to accomodate all types of players.

Finally, there are still some Cal and Merrin shippers out there, as u/f_n_wildcard is worried Jedi Survivor won’t make them “the force using, yin-yang power couple they were destined to be.” A lot of fans also seem to be worried that the recently released novel Battle Scars means it won’t happen, asit revealed Merrin is pansexual. All that means is that Merrin is attracted to people regardless of gender though, so Cal x Merrin believers shouldn’t give up hope just yet.
