Just as we’ve come to expect from all new releases, it looks like someone has managed to get their hands onStar Wars: Jedi Survivorway earlier than intended. And of course, they’re using the opportunity to show off as much of the game as possible, including some fairly big spoilers that fans will definitely want to avoid.
Don’t worry, we won’t be sharing any of that information here, but anyone wanting to go into the game fresh will have to be very careful on social media until launch day, April 28. At the time of writing, it doesn’t seem that there’s been any attempt to copyright strike the information and screenshots being shared by the early player, and even if they are taken down, they’re already being reposted onto other sites.

We found the spoilers onReddit, via a post that broke down how long it takes to beat the game, as well as a short description of some story beats. While it’s nothing “Kylo Ren kills Han Solo” level, it’s still the kind of stuff that most players will want to avoid before playing. Be on your guard on social media, especially if you useTwittersince that doesn’t have the spoiler tag option.
While they’re now being discussed on sites like Reddit and ResetEra, the leak actually originates from Twitter, via user @KebbyPlays. You’ll want to go ahead and mute them if you’re trying to avoid spoilers turning up on your feed, although they’re likely to get reshared by other accounts at this point.
Going through the account now, it’s not exactly clear how KebbyPlays got their hands on the game early. However, it has to be said that the screenshots they’re sharing look legit. Also, nothing came up when we put them through a reverse image search, so it’s not likely to just be images taken from preview material and put alongside some convincing story details they’ve made up on the spot.
On the bright side, fans won’t have to wait much longer to get their hands on the game. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is set to launch on April 28, so it’s just a few days away now. Previews are looking positive, but it remains to be seen how it does in its reviews.
One point of contention, however, is thatmuch of the game may have to be downloaded online. This is due to the fact that physical game cases for Jedi: Survivor say there is a “download required”, which usually means that the entire game couldn’t be fit onto one disc, and the publisher didn’t want to release it with two. Of course, this is speculation, but it would be odd for the box art to come with that warning otherwise.
