Skyrim is perhaps one of the most replayed games ever made. While the base game itself has tons of things to interact with and explore, it’s the mods scene that keeps fans of the game coming back. After all, who wouldn’t want their next playthrough to be slightly different? However, there’s only so manynew pieces of equipment, custom missions, andThomas the Tank Enginesyou can add before things get a bit stale.
So, the freshen things up, why not play Skyrim while absolutely tripping balls? Not you, of course. Don’t do drugs, kids. I mean the Dragonborn. Thanks to a new mod, the Dragonborn can get high as a dragon everytime they take a swig of Skooma (thanksPC Gamer). TheSkyrim on Skoomamod has been created by JaySerpa, and is sure to add colour to your next playthrough – a lot of it.

Upon downing some Skooma, you’ll experience wild hallucinations which will last for about 60 seconds. Despite being hallucinations, they can have real world effects as well. There are 69 (nice) different types of trips, but even then, each trip will be different, This is because, “each trip comes with a dozen+ very distinct visual effects and trance-like sounds that get randomized each time you take Skooma.” However, there is a chance of you getting addicted to Skooma, which you should be careful of.
“You might be wondering: if addiction is severe and lasts half an hour unless I consume more, why would I ever want to take Skooma?” asks creator JaySerpa. “Well my friend, Skooma is a recreational drug! The point is that you have fun while under its influence. I’ve made it so you never know what you’re going to get after you take Skooma, but it’s always guaranteed fun. With 69 new possible scenarios, there’s enough variation to make it enticing to “try again”.”
This is surely one of the more unique mods to add to your next playthrough. It’ll surely keep you entertained as you travel through the same areas you already have so many times. Just make sure not to drink and ride.
