There are some games with such expansive worlds and deep lore, that there’s no way you can know everything about them. It takes a serious amount of world-building to flesh a setting out so well that players find secrets and interesting tidbits even over a decade later. The prime example of this isSkyrim.

Given the game’s unparalleled adoration – and its many re-releases – it’s not surprising that there are some who know each and everything there is to know about it. These fans could perhaps even recognise where on the map they are just by looking at their surroundings. Well, the time to test these claims is finally here.

A couple of years ago, many of us got hooked to Geoguessr – a Google street view based game. It plops you somewhere on the planet with a 360 degree view of your surroundings. You then had to point out where you were on a map of the Earth and receive points based on how close you were. Now, you cando the same for Skyrim(thanksPC Gamer).

Lostgamer.io is a website dedicated to creating Geoguessr games based on popular open-world video games. We already reported on the Elden Ring version of it, but the website also includes games like Breath of the Wild, GTA 5, World of Warcraft, and Fortnite. Its latest addition is Red Dead Redemption 2, with Escape from Tarkov currently in progress.

“We have over 6000 locations spanning the entire map, that you’re able to navigate around akin to google maps streetview,” said the creator on Reddit. “We have also created the highest quality satellite map of Tamriel (99600 x 75106 pixels) to help with accurate guesses. We have a bunch of features including multiplayer, leaderboards and different game settings.”

Now you may finally go up against your friends and compare points to see who knows the map of Skyrim better. Of course, you could get lucky and get a very recognisable spot, but that’s not your fault, is it?
