2023 is going to be a big year forPokemon Scarlet & Violet. DLC that will introduce lots of newPokemon, and it turns out they can be traded with people who haven’t bought the DLC.That’s right, even if you don’t buy the DLC, the first part of which will roll out this fall, it will still technically be possible to keep your growing Pokedex up to date. Non-DLC-owning trainers will also be able to join you in the Union Circle, but that’s where their privileges come to an end. If you don’t own the DLC, you will not be able to visit specific areas in the Union Circle, even if you’re with a trainer who has bought the additional content.
As for which Pokemon will be added to Scarlet & Violet later this year, that is yet to be officially confirmed. While a few of the brand new Pokemon that will be introduced have been shown off, the list of returning Pokemon is being kept under wraps. An unofficial list has leaked suggestingas many as 230 Pokemon from previous gameswill be added to Paldea.
One of the new Pokemon being added via DLC will be Terapagos. Nothing much other than how it looks has been revealed about Terapagos, but some of you have already convinced yourselvesit appears to be the exact same shape as Paldea itself.
