Two weeks on from the launch ofResident Evil 4 Remakeand some weird and wonderful stuff has already been done with and adjacent to the game. The weirdest and most wonderful thing of all might be art that poses the question what if Ashley were a mouse? Of course, just a week after Moushley took overResident Evil’s corner of Twitter, someone has taken the creation and made it a reality via a mod for the remake.
The mod, which has been created bycathroon(thanks,PC Gamer), doesn’t simply turn Ashley into a human-sized rodent like the artistic interpretation created byTheComicFiend. It pops a tiny Moushley in Leon’s hair so players can pretend she’s controlling the lead character, Ratatouille-style. That’s why the mod, which you may download now throughNexus Mods, is appropriately called the Moushley Graham – Ratatouille Mod.

Since Moushley is perched on Leon’s head, the replacement for the character technically isn’t a replacement at all. In fact, cathroon’s description of the mod implies Moushley and Ashley are two separate beings who not only exist in the same Resident Evil universe but are intrinsically connected to one another.
“Take control of Moushley as she takes control of Leon, Ratatouille-style, and lay waste to some backwater Spanish village to rescue your human counterpart,” the mod description reads. So Moushley has simply adopted Leon’s mission to rescue and protect Ashley but needs to use Leon as a vessel to get that done. It certainly sounds more exciting than a rat controlling a chef. No hate for Ratatouille, I just prefer the sound of that idea being successfully fused with Resident Evil 4 Remake.
Mods for the remake continue to come thick and fast. Some of you were so keen to mod the game, you didn’t even wait for it to launch. As soon as the demo became available, modders were adding Shrekto the game andmaking Leon take his willy out. You filthy lot. There’s alsoa mod that removes the yellow paint markers from the gameif you’re one of the players who is taken out of the moment every time you see it.
