A newFablegame is in development,but with very few updates, the series has effectively been on ice since the last game in 2012. So it’s not a surprise that one fan has decided to take matters into their own hands, giving the first Fable game the modern remake it deserves. Over on YouTube and Reddit, user GamingRidge has been sharing progress on their own Fable remake. In the various videos and screenshots, we can see iconic locations from the first game lovingly recreated inUnreal Engine 5, giving us a taste of what a current-gen Fable would look like....

EAhas officially announced its replacement football (or soccer if you’re nasty) franchise following the collapse of the publisher’s deal with FIFA last year. Although we’ve known the title of the FIFA successor for a while, EA has now confirmed its new name isEA Sports FCin a new website that launched earlier today. As you may see on theEA Sports FC site, the game will feature partnerships with some of football’s biggest leagues, including the Premier League, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Women’s Champions League, La Liga Santander, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, Serie A, CONMEBOL Libertadores, Barclays Women’s Super League, NWSL, and many more, as indicated by the rotating series of logos....

Final Fantasy 14is no stranger to a good crossover. Along with other series like Dragon Quest and Nier, it also likes to occassionally crossover with other Final Fantasy games, bringing series protagonists such as Lightning (FF13) and Noctis (FF15) to the world of Final Fantasy 14. Game director Naoki Yoshida attended a panel at PAX East earlier today, and it seems like the crossovers are going to keep on coming....

Final Fantasy 14’s Fan Festival returns this year after taking a few years off thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic. Conventions will be held in Las Vegas in July, London in October, and Tokyo in early 2024. Game director Naoki Yoshida has promised something “substantial” at this year’s events, which has likely spiked interest in Fan Fest after years of being stuck at home. Unfortunately, getting to Fan Fest might be a problem for many Final Fantasy 14 players....
