2021’sMortal Kombatfinally gave fans of the series what they wanted – over-the-top action, corny acting, brutal fatalities, and references galore. It wasn’t a great movie in terms of acting or writing, then again, neither is the source material. Apart from the bloodshed and Fatalities, the best part about the movie was undoubtedly Hiroyuki Sanada’s portrayal of Hanzo Hasashi, aka Scorpion. The actor’s menacing demeanor perfectly fit the role of everyone’s favourite fiery undead yellow ninja....

Whenever you see a game onSteamand it has a single person’s name listed as the developer, you might be about to play one of the best games of the year. Obviously, this logic doesn’t always apply, but for games likeManor Lords,Vampire Survivors, and now Mortal Sin, it’s not an awful rule to follow. Mortal Sin is a stylish action-roguelike developed by solo dev Nikola Todorovic. It’s fast-paced, brutal, has an extremely unique art style that looks better in execution than it does in a YouTube video, and a banger of a soundtrack that perfectly harmonizes with the dismemberment of your enemies....

Playing a game ofMagic: The Gatheringis something of a ritual in itself. We’ve all seen the memes about The Room, and know about its strange and often unintentionally funny creator, Tommy Wiseau. You may have also seen The Disaster Artist, a biographical comedy-drama film starring both Dave and James Franco, charting Wiseau’s life before, during, and after the creation of The Room. Wiseau is now making another movie, and it looks absolutely awful. If you’ve never heard of it, The Room was directed, written, and produced by Wiseau in 2003 and achieved cult status for being widely considered the worst film ever made....

A new Hero coming to Overwatch is always a big shake-up. Not only does the entire meta have to restructure, but players may find a new main, and given the balancing issues that have been plaguing the sequel, a whole lot might need to change again. Overwatch 2’ssecond season is coming with a new map called the Antarctic Peninsula, building on the arena map Ecopoint: Antarctica. This is a Control-type map that will feature Mei’s lab, an underground tunnel system, and the icebreaker ship which we can actually go inside. “It’s just super rad to fight inside an abandoned ship as large as an icebreaker,” art director Dion Rogers said (as reported byPolygon). “We’ve got cool tunnels and the engine room - you can get a lot of direction from it, because you can see the bow of the ship and you can see where the captain’s chamber is....
