But for professionalLeague of Legendsplayers there’s far more at stake, and they’re currently willing to put their livelihoods on the line to protest changes to Riot’s game that are systematically dismantling the esport as they know it....

I’ve been wanting to talk about Lego 2K Drive for a while now. Though I didn’t do the preview myself (you can read ours here), ever since the event was set up I’ve been aware of its existence, and if 2K gets things right, it could be the perfect game for me. There’s still no racing game that has replicated the thrill of Burnout 3: Takedown, Mashed, or Destruction Derby 64, and I have high hopes that the cartoonish carnage of Lego with 2K’s competence in the sports game market will combine to create exactly that....

Hellblade 2has been a long time coming. The original won plaudits in 2017, and seemed to be a solid foundation to build upon. It was a little short, and maybe too prescriptive or reliant on tropes in places, but it was a good game. For a fairly small studio, Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice was impressive in both its graphics and its quality, and the sequel could have used it as a comfortable springboard....

Overwatch 2has been soldiering along rather quietly as of late, implementing the ocassional matchmaking fix or character rework to make sure the game runs as smoothly as possible. Since Ramattra’s addition last year, Blizzard has promised that it’s working on two new heroes to add to the roster at some point in Season 4. Before today, the only info we were given about these heroes was that they’re both going to be Support, but now we’ve been given a first look at a character called Lifeweaver....

Turns out the changes in color and sometimes even shape of the Pokemon were never intended. The original designs have now been discovered and will gradually be used to replace the miscolored images in the asset archive....
