Despite years of back and forth with a unified community begging for support, Niantic has finally decided to gut Remote Raid Passes. Starting this week, the price of Remote Raid Pass bundles will increase from 300 (already up from 250 several months ago) to 525, while the price of single passes will increase from 100 to 195. Additionally, players will be limited to a total of five Remote Raids per day....

Zombies, Run! Came out in 2012, and for a summer it completely took over my life. Destiny 2’s paid Character Boost is changing in Lightfall. When the new expansion launches, there will be two different kinds of Character Boosts available, depending on your progress. Once you hit soft cap with one of your characters, you’ll be able to boost your other characters up with a set of high Power level gear, just like normal. Once you finish the Lightfall campaign, there will be a new option to pay a fee and skip the campaign on your other characters, allowing them to gain access to Strand right away, and start with high Power level gear, provided your first character is at soft cap....

Update 2.8 is live in Marvel’s Avengers, which means practically nothing to anyone except the 700 people still active on the subreddit (hello), but it’s an important milestone for the game. As in, the final milestone. Marvel’s Avengers will never receive another update, it is no longer a live-service game, and after September 30, it will cease to exist entirely. The update brings a couple of significant changes, some of which will only matter to hardcore players - like the removal of the Superior gear cap on end-game mission rewards and reduced cost on upgrading max-level gear - but other changes are worth noticing even if you’ve never played the game before....
Marvel’s Avengershas been on borrowed time since January when its publisher announced that the live-service title will have its support pulled on September 30. For those wanting to give the game a spin, now’s a good time as all cosmetics are available to all players for free. This could be considered a definitive edition of the game and it seems its developer Crystal Dynamics wants players to think the same as it’s renamed Marvel’s Avengers - The Definitive Edition on multiple platforms....
The deeper I get into Peridot’s breeding system, the more I find myself scratching my head, wondering how it ended up this abtruse. What should be a simple process of selecting mates to breed with each other is bogged down by awkward interfaces, microtransactions, and the forced use of Niantic Discord knockoff, Campfire. The friction created by Peridot’s bizarre Hatch-a-Dot process is putting me off the game barely a week after I started playing it....
