Overwatch 2players are delighted, horrified, titillated, concerned, piqued, and some other emotions in between, by a “moist” sounding Ashe skin that comes with the game’s Season 4 battle pass.
The item in question is the Ashe Intergalactic Smuggler Skin with the Legendary Skin part of the space-themed skins available in Overwatch 2’s Season 4 battle pass. Ashe and Bob pose as intergalactic smugglers while Ashe gets a tentacular addition in the form of an octupus-like skin for her dynamite. This dynamite also makes sounds that could be considered rather “moist”. Fans, like fish to a luminscent point, have been drawn to this new thing and the noise it promises. It really must be heard to be believed.

Of course as an intergalactic smuggler Ashe now has dynamite in the shape of a tentacle, and that this tentacle dynamite also makes squishy watery sounds. Linked below you too can hear what it sounds like and judge for yourself how moist it sounds.
Posted on the Overwatch subreddit (viaDexerto), it is a popular addition garnering more than 10,000 upvotes and more than three hundred comments. “I seriously don’t know whether to upvote or downvote”, said a top comment. “I am horrified”. The word “moist” comes up multiple, multiple times. Another highly upvoted comment simply read “Dynamussy”.
While it remains to be seen if we’re all going to hell it’s credit to Overwatch’s dev team for producing such a conversation starter of a skin. For those especially interested, players can view the object in question in the game, move it around, and it’ll make that wet sound. In addition to the squishily liquid noise the “dynamussy” also has physics that impressed some observers as the tentacles jiggle around when moved.
“I hope it makes a squish sound when it lands after being thrown”,commentedone redditor. “Imagine in the heat of battle you hear wet noises in your left ear, only to look over and be caught on fire”.
It seems the Overwatch team know their audience and the fanbase and the studio have their fun, both via the game and on social media. The official Overwatch Twitter account for example seems to have a thing with feet while the community has gained a reputation for being kinda amorous. This new Ashe skin surely has thrown a dynamite onto all of that. Tentacles, meanwhile, have their own history in this hot-under-the-collar space although one would not at all recommend Googling about that while at work. It’s a thing. You have been warned.
