If you want to pick up a few older cards with amazing new artwork, these Secret Lairs might be a great addition to your collection. Some of the cards included in these drops are worth their price simply by the cards included in them, while others may climb in value as more players realize they want them.

The value of these Secret Lairs is taken from TCGplayer’s Market Value based on the regular, non-foil version of the card on June 15, 2025, and may change in value over time.

8Artist Series: Alayna Danner - $82.96

Featuring stunning art from Alayna Danner,this drop is focused on Angelsand some amazing support for them. There is a warning with this Secret Lair; however, the art of Seraph Sanctuary wasaccidentally printed without the final art. The blurry mountains there are supposed to be the tops of a castle but were sent to the printers with the wrong art.

This Artist Series includes Linvala, Keeper of Silence, Sunblast Angel, Emeria, the Sky Ruin, and Seraph Sanctuary. Linvala and Emeria stand out in this Secret Lair, each one having very few printings since their initial release.

MTG Secret Lair Cool Ocean Breeze

7Artist Series: Randy Vargas - $84.96

From science fiction and fantasy illustrator Randy Vargas comes a fantastic Artist Series Secret Lair. While this Secret Lair doesn’t follow a specific theme, it does feature one of the goodest boys Magic has ever seen, a new art for Selfless Savior, and a reprint of two cards that haven’t seen print in years.

One of the chillest Secret Lairs ever released, Cool Ocean Breeze is all about good times, good vibes, and fun at the beach. This four-card Secret Lair features art by Lauren YS as some of the best blue cards ever printed.

Cool Ocean Breeze includes the legendary creature Llawan, Cephalid Empress, Master of Waves, Thassa, Deep-Dwelling, and Thassa’s Oracle. With Thassa’s Oracle being one of the most popular win conditions in Commander, this Secret Lair drop is guaranteed to be a popular one. Thassa, Deep-Dwelling is also a great Commander staple, flickering a creature over and over again to trigger enter the battlefield effects on your end step.

MTG Secret Lair Nature Is Adorable

5Nature Is Adorable - $99.95

Collecting some of the very powerful green cards is the Nature is Adorable Secret Lair. With some of the most pleasant art Magic has ever seen from illustrator Aya Kakeda, this Secret Lair drop is a must-have if you want to upgrade your Commander decks.

The real all-star from this drop is Nature’s Will which has seen only one printing since it first came out in Champions of Kamigawa all the way back in 2004. Another great card from this collection is Yeva, Nature’s Herald, which gives all your green creatures flash and a fantastic way to surprise your opponents with massive creatures at instant speed.

4Artist Series: Rebecca Guay - $99.96

Long-time fan favorite artist Rebecca Guay returns for a new Secret Lair, this time an Artist Series featuring some of her best work yet. Rebecca Guay has worked on more than 150 pieces since her first contribution to the Alliances expansion in 1996.

This Artist Series features four cards, Cleansing Nova, Serra the Benevolent, Stoneforge Mystic, and Muddle the Mixture. The planeswalker Serra the Benevolent stands out among the rest, showing off a sick pair of shades. Stoneforge Mystic has been printed a few times over the years, and with Rebecca Guay’s new artwork, it will remain a valuable addition to any collection.

MTG Secret Lair Showcase Vol. 1

3Showcase: March Of The Machine Vol. 1 - $139.95

The first Showcase Secret Lair brings you to Eldraine, Innistrad, Kaladesh, Kaldheim, and New Capenna with five cards featuring their respective plane’s exclusive borders. Several of the cards included in this Showcase drop have never received a special printing, making it the first time many of these cards have been printed in years.

Walking Ballista is one of the better inclusions in this Secret Lair, having one other Secret Lair printing in recent years but never getting the golden filigree border from the Kaladesh block. Another key card from thisSecret Lair is Olivia Voldaren, which has only seen one other reprinting since it was first printed back in the original Innistrad set.

The Phyrexian invasion continues across the multiverse, spreading their influence far and wide. In their effort to compleat the multiverse, the beings of Dominaria, Ikoria, Ravnica, Strixhaven, and Theros join forces with special showcase treatments of some of their most powerful spells.

Easily one of the best cards from the set for many players is going to be Nyxbloom Ancient, the mana accelerant that triples the amount of mana you produce from any source. Kolga, the Titan Ape is another punchy card from this Showcase, a beefy monkey that fights anything it wants when it comes into play.

1Showcase: March Of The Machine Vol. 2 - $209.94

Among all the planes that New Phyrexia invaded, there are those that resisted the overwhelming might of Elesh Norn’s armies. The planes of Ixalan, Kamigawa, Tarkir, and Zendikar count themselves lucky to have these massively powerful creatures to protect them. This Showcase even has a throwback to an old Phyrexian legend, giving them an upgraded look for the first time.

Higure, the Still Wind stands outamong the powerful cards released in this Showcase, being one of the premiere Ninja cards in Magic. If you’re not into sneaky attacks, you may always drop a Nezahal, Primal Tide, or a Dragonlord Kolaghan to deal some massive damage with these over-the-top attackers.
