There have been some significant changes to the president’s daughter in theResident Evil 4 remake. Shecan finally use ladders on her own,preventing Leon from looking up her skirtas he waits patiently to catch her in his big, burly arms. She’s also got a deluxe costume that confirms shewas definitely a scene kid growing up. But the biggest change is to her hair, which now falls long enough to completely obscure her ears.
The voices calling out to see up Ashley’s skirt largely drowned out criticism from Ashley fans being unable to see her ears, but apparently, there were enough such fans that someone thought it’d be a good idea to create a mod that brings her ears back from beneath her bangs. Thus, the “Canon Ashley” mod from Mal0 was born.

While the name suggests a return to OG RE4 canon, the truth is it just gives her ears that are so comically large we might as well call this the Dumbo Ashley mod. Never mind climbing up and down ladders–Ashley could just fly away on those things and leave Leon to fend for himself against hordes of Plagas-infected villagers.
To download the mod, head on over toNexus Modsand grab the compressed file, then unpack it in your Resident Evil 4 remake’s install folder. Be sure to back up your data otherwise you’ll be stuck with big-eared Ashley forever, or at least until you reinstall the game.
