Updated on July 30, 2025, by Branden Lizardi:As Marvel Snap settles and a proper meta continues to solidify, the way we approach certain deck types has changed. We’ve revised this list to ensure you get the most helpful information when putting together the best Marvel Snap Agatha deck. We’ve also tweaked things to keep everything clean and easy to read.

Marvel Snap Agatha Deck Agatha Harkness

11Agatha Harkness

While not the most viable way of ranking up, Agatha is both fun and serves as a way to gain some of the most satisfying wins. The key is to get rid of her as she has 14 power, whether to get her on the early field somehow or discard her for control. Even if you maintain her, your Plan B is to have synergy between her and the other cards.

Agatha is for players wanting a risk but people who are measured enough to call it. She is a card that will teach youwhen to retreatto mitigate damages from a loss.

Marvel Snap Agatha Deck Quicksilver

10Quicksilver

A key strategy for Agatha is to make way for higher-costing, higher-powered cards to take on the field. You want to nudge Agatha the best you can to play a card every turn. She loves to do what you don’t want, but you can tempt her in the early game, like having Quicksilver drawn.

Having cards sit in your hand can slow things down, especially when Agatha is playing whatever she wants. Quicksilver lets you have a guaranteed early play to shorten your hand by one and open the door for her to possibly have better plays down the line.

Marvel Snap Agatha Deck Domino

9Domino

Domino is similar to Quicksilver but always comes in on round two. Since she costs two energy, it is no big deal not to draw her on the first turn. The same idea still applies to playing her to make room for better cards to focus Agatha’s attention.

Sometimes, abilities are not everything. If you’re sticking with Agatha, or at least planning to for partway through the match, you will need to gain some use out of her. You cannot rely on certain picks, so Domino makes for a safe play early on without risking a card getting played out of sync with a plan you normally have, as Agatha does not care for your strategies.

8Gambit

Control is your best bet when you have Agatha, which means getting rid of her. Plenty ofcards can discardsomething from your hand, but Gambit is among the best, as he destroys something from the other side of the field. If he discards something you want gone, it is a win-win.

You can pair them well with anything that discards, like Ghost Rider or Hela. Either one can correct a mistake on Gambit’s part by discarding the wrong card or bringing Agatha to the field for 14-power domination.

7America Chavez

That final draw on turn six can throw things off the rails if the draw is a one-powered chump rather than a real superhero or villain to lock in a location. If not drawn, America Chavez will come to your hand on that final turn to possibly save the day. Agatha or no Agatha, you will have a card that packs a punch to possibly secure that victory.

The final turn doesn’t matter if Agatha remains in hand since she will play herself. However, if she left you with a mess to clear up, this guaranteed nine-power card can tip the scales.

6Lady Sif

Cards with discard abilities are a gamble, as they usually take a card out randomly. Depending on what you want out of your hand, you want something with some control. Lady Sif discards the highest-costing card, so whether that is Apocalypse to make him stronger or Agatha for you to gain control, she is one of the most valuable selections with a discard ability.

Having Agatha is mostly a liability. Blade, Gambit, or anything else could get rid of her, but it’s not guaranteed. The technique is similar: throw her out and bring her back with Hela or Ghost Rider, but this way, you have control over who gets discarded. It is mostly about management as you don’t want Agatha to play another card other than Lady Sif, and you don’t want something of the same cost as Agatha getting discarded instead.

5Wave

Wave is another valuable card for having some control over your hand. Agatha will still play whatever she wants, but at least you can give her more options with everything costing four if she chooses to play nice and use Wave.

Using Wave alongside Agatha will lead to Agatha playing herself on turn four, giving you control for those final rounds and steering the ship in your favor. You’ll also have a hefty 14 power on the board when you do so.

4Jubilee

When you need a Hail Mary, Jubilee poses the possibility of summoning one of your strongest cards to the field. There’s a lot of chance involved here, but if the odds are in your favor, she can be a great way to summon another card you really need.

Jubilee can play the necessary cards to take over a location. In other cases, Jubilee can get you a much-needed card with a discard ability, like Lady Sif, to get rid of Agatha to let you steer the rest of the match.

3Sandman

Even if Agatha stays in your hand, she can only do so much when Sandman gets played. By allowing only one card per turn for each player, you have less risk of Agatha poorly playing multiple low-level cards in a single turn. Sandman makes for one of the more creative ways to nudge Agatha in a direction that favors you rather than chaos.

Sandman is a card you’ll want to hope comes up if Jubilee gets time to shine, so you can better control Agatha’s end game before she plays herself.

2Hela

Hell Cow, Lady Sif, and other cards that discard what is in your hand can have a risk as they may throw out something you didn’t want to go. Hela rectifies this by bringing all those cards back onto the field in random spots. So, no matter what damage Agatha or others do to your strategy, you cansave the day with Hela.

To gain use out of Hela, you still need Agatha out of the way. Otherwise, she will play herself on the final turn. For that final play, if you can discard Agatha or get lucky not to draw her that match, you may have a chance to resurrect everything you sacrificed in your hand.
