Legends of RuneterraWorldwalker brings the expansion, Domination, that features different aspects of the concept in three different ways while also introducing three new champions Vayne, Seraphine, and Varus. Each character takes the idea in a different direction, as Vayne fights people dominated by a curse, Seraphine dominates the stage, and Varus dominates the minds of others.

With such varying characters, the artwork also varies in intensity, encompassing what each character faces while trying to make their mark on the land of Runeterra. With such outstanding artwork, you can see each character’s full extent and capabilities, plus a powerful glimpse into their personalities.

10Evolved Vayne

Wearing a pair of red sunglasses to block the blinding light from her cross bolts,Vayne holds her arm up as she is about to send a cursed individual to the afterlife with her next attack. In this artwork, we see Vayne at her best, killing cursed beings and doing so without a bit of emotion on her face, showcasing how she is a veteran here and doesn’t seem to be disturbed by her job at all.

The brilliant glow of her cross bolts is a clever way of illuminating the image for us, giving you a focused gaze of Vayne and her next course of action.

9Bloodcursed Harpy

This card artwork is downright unique. Most of the time, the main character of the artwork takes center stage, but Kudos Productions was clever enough to have the Harpy take your attention without being the first thing you see.

At first, we see a warrior rushing into the fray, which causes us to look at what he’s fighting, and then we get to see the monster of the night, cursed to turn into this horrific being. It gives us the feeling of a group of vampire hunters facing off against a powerful foe.

8Kind-Hearted Recruit

Befitting the card’s name, this artwork shows a naive and inexperienced recruit heading in first to defeat a powerful creature. A scar on his face makes us aware that he has encountered these creatures before.

However, his stance and youthful nature make you aware that he is very new to this type of fighting and is going with the flow. Despite this, his face shows determination and focus, with no sign of nervousness. Will he be able to accomplish his mission without facing any struggle?

7Icevale Cultist

A Freljord archer was “convinced” to join Varus’s side, and in doing so, we see an entirely new side of the archer’s personality. In this artwork, we can see that by turning to Varus’s side, his bow and arrow became just as corrupted as the individual with whom he decided to join sides.

This artwork shows how Varus can tempt the heart and minds of others, giving them power in exchange for taking over their entire being outside of that. We even have Varus sitting in the background, watching as his new member starts attacking someone off-screen with their newfound abilities.

6Varus

Being a cold-blooded killer, no one could have expectedVarus to have such an internal struggle. The mortal souls confined in Varus are speaking to him as apparations of smoke within this piece, and each person looks as if they’re trying to guide Varus to a better path, but his mind is focused elsewhere as he doesn’t meet the gaze of either person that is next to him. Kudos Productions brilliantly shows us the dynamic and dichotomy of Varus and how he has conflicting sides of his highly complex personality and character.

5The Witness

The Witness is an exciting card because we have Jhin and another person floating down a river, slowly approaching this entity of sorts with multiple purple eyes while also holding something in her hands.

This entity donning the moniker, the numerous eyes fits but gives an unsettling feeling as she makes you believe she has seen everything that you’ve done both in public and secret, and wherever it is Jhin needs to go, this being stands in his path as if she is a challenge he must overcome to continue on his journey.

4Acorn, the Hextechnician

Who wouldn’t love having a sidekick with them as they climb to greatness? This artwork by Caravan Studio shows Seraphine’s chipmunk buddy sitting on the back of her moped as they speed down the streets, presumably to Seraphine’s next performance.

Although Acorn is the main star of the artwork, we see the beautiful landscape of Seraphine’s hometown and watch an aspect of her shown to us with Acorn’s introduction. The setting sun in the background signifies the end of a day, but the start of a journey is wonderfully done and keeps you interested to see more.

3Opulent Foyer

A beautiful setting for an exciting ballroom masquerade party draws your attention and makes you focus on every little aspect the artwork tries to show you. What stands out in an unsettling way is the encroaching darkness slowly seeping into the party, where all the guests seem unaware of the uninvited beings or creatures that have decided to join them this evening.

The use of bright colors at the top of the artwork gives us a warm and appreciative feeling, but as we slowly descend the staircase, we see the danger lurking in the shadows that seem to want to blot out the light of this evening.

2The Altar Of Blood

This artwork shows an incredible monument made for a powerful beinglike the Darkin, Xolaani. She stands at the very top of the altar, with what could only be assumed as cultists surrounding her, but they’re all witnesses to the incoming attacker who wishes to battle with Xolaani.

The cultists raise their hands in the air as if they’re worshipping the fight before them, thus giving you an uneasy feeling as they’re entirely unaware of what is happening. The altar itself takes the shape of a claw, with what seems like webs surrounding it, thus giving you the feeling that whatever is charging straight into it is about to be trapped there forever.

1Evolved Seraphine

With her being a rockstar,Seraphine’s overwhelming personalitytakes center stage. She stands in the middle of a large crowd, looking out into the distance with a triumphant and confident smile on her face while everyone can’t help but be entranced by the sight of her. It even gives you the idea that her music has powers, with the spectral energy exuding from your microphone and guitar.

Seraphine makes sure that her voice is heard and that you have no choice but to be captivated by the sight of her taking over the main stage.
