There are five contenders fighting over the control of Rockay City, and there’s also a chief of police trying to make the city safe. As Travis Baker, you have to get rid of all the bosses and take the entire area for yourself to become the new crime boss.
How To Start Turf War
When you start playing the campaign mode and see the map of Rockay City, you’ll realize that the city is divided into multiple regions that are colored differently. Travis Baker won’t be controlling any part of the turf at the start. You’ll have a specific mission to meet Touchdown when you play for the first time.
This mission will take you to a warehouse where you’ll have todefeat enemies and save Touchdown, which will lead to him joining your crew. He’ll also mention that he wants to be in charge of the turf war, and he’ll get help from Nasara’s soldiers called Graves. After the mission, you’ll be taken to talk to Casey.

You likely already finished a mission where you had to steal Candy from other gang members.Casey will ask you to head over to your Stash in the Office section and sell the Candy.
Finally, head to the Goals section and call Touchdown to begin the Turf War. This will take you to your first Turf War mission.

How To Win Turf War
Turf War is completely different from normal heists that you’ll be conducting in Crime Boss: Rockay City. In other heists, you can only use up to four crew members and you have to buy each one of them. On the other hand,Turf War relies on the number of Grave soldiers you possess.
You cansee both the number of your crew members and Grave soldiers on the top of your screenwhen you’re on the map section. You’ll eventually be able to buy more soldiers from the ship-like symbol at the bottom of your map. The turf controlled by Travis Baker is highlighted in blue.

You need at least ten soldiers to start a Turf War even if you’re attacking a neutral turf. There’s a limit to the number of soldiers you can have, which also limits the number of turf battles in a day.
Apart from the blue area, here’s what the color of a certain region means:

Neutral turf, not controlled by any gangster
Purple
Controlled by Don Barbaro
After passing the first Turf War, you’ll get the first blue territory on the map. From here, you may only attack the turfs that are directly linked to one of the territories in your control. The land you can attack has a skull symbol with a triangle behind it, as shown above. The triangles determine the difficulty of the region.
For example, one triangle means that there are only a few tier-one soldiers in the territory, while three triangles mean that there are a lot of tier-three soldiers present. If a certain gangster has only one territory left, it’ll have a special skull symbol on it and you’ll be finding a huge horde of enemies here.

After selecting the desired turf, you can raid it if you have at least ten soldiers. Though thegame will have a red bar around the Soldier selection if it thinks that you should have more. You can simply increase soldiers until the bar goes away or go with fewer soldiers and risk being defeated.
you may also see the number and tier of enemy soldiers present on this screen. There will be a big picture of the gangster controlling the turf as well.

Once everything is selected, you can head into the turf battle.Touchdown won’t be joining the battle when you’re attacking another turf, which means you’ll be controlling a soldier at random. There will be markers above everyone in the area, and your enemies will have a yellow-colored marker on top.
Unlike other heists, you’ll lose a soldier permanently if you’re eliminated while fighting.Though you’ll switch to a different soldier if that happens. The top of your screen will show the number of soldiers you and the enemy have left. Once the number of enemy soldiers reaches zero, you’ll either win the turf or a leader will spawn.
If there is a leader, you’ll see their aura highlighted in red when they appear. The soldier number bar on the enemy side will be replaced by the leader’s health. At this point, you just have to defeat the leader to win the turf. After taking out all the health, the boss will drop to the ground and crawl around until you hit him again.
Finally, if you launch an attack on neutral turf, you’ll have to spend less money and get that turf for free. These should always be your priority. Sometimes, detectives will investigate some turfs and make them neutral, which gives you the perfect opportunity to capture a turf for free.
Turf Defense
When you start a new day, you’llsometimes see stripes of two colors on one or more of the turfs you control. This means that an enemy is trying to attack your turf. These missions expire in one day, which leads to the attacker acquiring the turf if you don’t do anything about it.
Ideally, you have to focus on saving the turf first unless the enemies seem too strong. Click on the skull symbol on the contested turf and start preparing your defense. The special thing about turf defense is that you’ll be using Touchdown himself, though this can also be a hindrance.
If you’re eliminated as Touchdown during the defense, you won’t lose him but the mission will instantly fail. This will also result in the attacker capturing your turf.
you’re able to increase Touchdown’s damage and give himsome extra revives by selecting certain buffs when your boss level is upgraded.
Another special thing about territory defense is that you won’t see a boss from the enemy. You’ll just have to defeat a certain amount of soldiers to make them retreat. In Turf Wars, the soldiers you see in the field might be far more than the number at the top. Though they all retreat when the number reaches zero.
Sometimes, one of the gangsters might also attack your warehouse and try to steal a ton of commodities. This event also expires in a day,but you’ll be taking Baker and other crew members to this fight. You’ll simply have to stay alive until the timer at the top runs out, but you’ll constantly get attacked by enemy soldiers.
How To Upgrade Your Army
As mentioned above, enemy territories can have tier-two and tier-three soldiers defending their turf. You need to upgrade your army if you want to compete with that. After capturing a few turfs, you’ll be able to see the first “Strengthen Army” mission in your goals. When you talk to Touchdown, he’ll give you two options.
You caneither give him $120,000 or $40,000 worth of drugs for the first upgrade. When the payment is made, your army will be upgraded to tier-two.You’ll get a second strengthen army mission after capturing a lot more turf. In this one, you can only pay Touchdown with money, and quite a lot of it.
If you talk to Touchdown and don’t give him the required money for the second strengthening mission, you won’t be able to call him for another three days.
If your army is at the same tier as the enemy soldiers on a territory, you’ll need far lesser soldiers to win the area. Conquering every single territory in the campaign mode is the main goal of Baker’s Battle.
