The world ofDisney Dreamlight Valleyfeatures numerous Disney characters that aid you on your journey to save the valley from The Forgetting. This mysterious event made the people forget about the valley and head back to their realms. One of these realms belongs to Simba and Nala from The Lion King.

You’ll first unlock Nala during the quest to drive away hyenas from the realm. Once Nala is back in Dreamlight Valley, you can start working toward Simba. He stays back in the realm because something is bothering him, and he needs to resolve the issue before coming over.

How To Unlock Simba

Afterbringing Nala to your realm, the quest called “Stars To Guide Us” will begin. This will have Simba’s face on it.Head back to The Lion King realm, which is the left door on the second floor in the Dream Castle, andtalk to Simba. He’ll mention thathe can’t see the stars that used to guide him.

The main character will think that something magical can be behind this, and you’ll have totalk to Merlin about it. He’ll tell you that the realms are created from the characters' imagination, andthe clouded sky comes from Simba’s clouded memory.

These can be found on the ground all across the valley orharvested from stumps once you unlock the upgrade in the Royal Shovel.

you may get Night and Dream Shards from shiny dig spots around the valley.Use five Night Shards and one Dream Shardto create one Purified Night Shard.

Once you get the stick,head back to Simbaat the top of The Lion King realm and talk to him. After the dialogue,place the stick on the rock right where Simba’s looking. Talk to him once again to witness a cool cutscene of the sky being cleared up and the stars appearing.

Follow Simbato the dried-out Oasis and he’ll ask you togather three Jungle Fern, Waterfall Plant, and Clearing Tree seeds. Head to the jungle and you’ll find multiple crops with ashiny effecton them. Dig three of each kind to get the required seeds and place them in the ground near the oasis.

Talk to Simba afterward and he’ll tell you thatthe flow of the river is being blocked by a boulder. Follow the stream of water going from the oasis, and you’ll reach aboulder that can be broken by your Pickaxe. Once the oasis is filled again, you can return to the valley and welcome Simba.

Since you already made the Pride Rock for Nala before,you won’t have to make a special house for Simba.

Simba Friendship Rewards

Once Simba is in Dreamlight Valley,you canupgrade his friendship to level ten and get some exclusive rewards. This can be done bygifting them their favorite giftsand makingconversations with them every day. You can also assign a task to them at level two and hang out with them to get friendship EXP.

There’sno limit to the number of gifts you can giveto a certain character, so you can speedrun the friendship levels.

If you want to do this for free,pick all the flowers in the valley and give them all to Simba. Repeat this until you reach friendship ten.

The reward for friendship level ten only unlocks after finishing the final friendship quest mentioned below. Here areall the rewards you can get:

Hakuna Matata Quest Walkthrough

Hakuna Matatais Simba’s first friendship quest unlocked after reaching friendship level two. In this quest, he’ll ask you toplace three Seating and five Landscaping items in Peaceful Meadows. This area can be found just below The Plaza, and you can place these items anywhere in the area.

Next, you’ll have to talk to Scrooge McDuck andbuy a poolfor either 9,000 Star Coins or a bunch of rare gems.Place the pool in the Peaceful Meadows as well. Talk to Simba after placing the items and the quest will finish.

The Great Gathering Quest Walkthrough

This is the second friendship quest unlocked at level four, but you’ll have to finish prior friendship quests to unlock the next one.Talk to Simbaand he’ll ask you totalk to Remy for some ideas on what to serve at the gathering.

Learn the recipe Remy gave you andmake the two food itemsusing the following:

Arendellian Pickled Herring

Herring

Found in the waters of Dazzle Beach and Glade of Trust.

Lemon

Found on fruit trees in the Forest of Valor and Glade of Trust.You can replace these trees in a convenient locationin furniture mode.

Onion

you’re able to buy Onion Seeds from Goofy’s Stall in Forest of Valor.

Any spice

Can be found on fruit trees in the Plaza.

Wheat

You can buy Wheat Seeds from Goofy’s Stall in Peaceful Meadows.

Eggs

Bought at Remy’s restaurant.

Give the two food items to Simba andhe’ll ask you to invite Minnie, Goofy, and Maui to the gathering. Talk to the three people andplace the “No Worries” Banquet anywhere in the valley.

To go along with Simba’s lore, it’d bebetter to place it in Peaceful Meadowssince the items in the Hakuna Matata quest were also placed there.

For the last part of this quest,you’ll have to feed five critters. you’re able to alsobuy Carrot seeds from the stall in Peaceful Meadowsandgrow nine of themin the same area. Talk to Nala and then Simba to finish the quest.

Seed Of Memories Quest Walkthrough

Unlock this quest at level seven andtalk to Scarto continue. He’ll mention that you had ahidden place inside the mines in Sunlit Plateau where you kept the recipe for Dreamlight Tree. These mines are unlocked during the Nature and Nurture quest where you also unlock the character Scar.

Once youenter the mines, use the bridge on the river that leads you to the right side.Keep following the path deeper and keep an eye to your right. You’ll see a shiny area leading into the hidden laboratory where you can interact with a bunch of stuff to continue the quest.Talk to Merlinabout what you discovered.

Merlin will ask you togather three Dream Shards, three Night Shards, six Blueberry, three Orange Marsh Milkweeds,andtwo Empty Vials. Here’s how you can get the last three items:

Craft a Potion of Growth and Dustin the Potion & Enchantment section with the above items.Head back to Sunlit Plateau mines and place the potions in the secret room.

Follow Simbaandplant the Dreamlight Tree Seedrightbeside the pond in Sunlit Plateau. You’ll only be able to plant this in a tile next to the pond.

This tree takes two days to grow once you plant it,and you’ll only be able to water it once every real-life day.

Though you canuse Miracle Growth Elixirto make this process muchfaster.

The quest will finish aftertalking to Simba once the tree is fully grown.

The Dreamlight Grove Quest Walkthrough

The final friendship quest for Simba unlocks at level ten, and it’ll ask you toharvest Dreamlight Fruit from the treeyou grew in the previous quest andgive it to Simba.Talk to Mother Gothelafter this and she’ll ask you to get:

You canonly get three fruits from the Dreamlight Tree every day, and you’ll give one to Simba at the start of the quest.

This means thatyou’ll have to wait for the next day to continue the quest from this point.

Craft the Dreamlight Tree Fertilizerand use it in your inventory.Water any five flowers in Forgotten Lands, Frosted Heights, and Glade of Trustafter the enchantment is done. You’ll be able to finish the quest after a bunch of dialogue.
