The Baker’s Battle mode inCrime Boss: Rockay Cityis all about taking over the city one turf at a time. Though you’ll need a lot of funds for this battle, and you need crew members for heists to get these funds. you may buy most crew members through the Team screen as your respect grows.

Though some special members can only be unlocked through their exclusive missions. These missions will take you through a story where you get to know more about that member, and you’ll be able to take them in your heists afterward.
How To Unlock Ranger’s Missions
During a certain instance of the campaign mode,you’ll be able to see the map containing many areas colored differently. Whenever you finish everything on a certain day and switch to the next, you have a chance of getting a special mission that belongs to a certain crew member.
These missions can beidentified with a yellow symbol that has a person’s figure on it. Ranger is one of the most common characters, so you’ll likely get hisfirst special mission called “Pinned Down” during the early stages of your campaign.
Pinned Down Mission Walkthrough
The first mission featuring Ranger will take you to a war-torn area where you’ll be in a swamp. You’ll see two soldiers step on a mine and explode,which will lead to the captain asking you to bring Morphine. You’ll get to control your character after this and you simply have to follow the yellow marker to get to the captain.
You’ll also see a sniper trying to pick off your soldiers. While the captain says that the team should fall back,Ranger will mention that he can flank the sniper and reduce the casualties. When you take control of the character again, go through the swamp and enter the enemy territory through the passage shown above.
This passage will be tiny and filled with enemies.Don’t try to rush your way through the area, take your time to defeat one enemy at a time. Go forward through the small passage and you’ll see a slope leading up to your right. Go up through this slope and turn right to reach the general hideout of the sniper.
There are three locations where the sniper can be hidden:
When the sniper is close enough and in your field of view,the yellow marker will relocate on his head. Shoot down the sniper to finish the first mission.
Danger Close Mission Walkthrough
A few days after finishing the first Ranger mission,you’ll see the second one called “Danger Close”. This mission will appear after a couple of days, butit can also appear in the middle of the day after you use Ranger in a heist. The mission will start with the GI Captain giving you a briefing.
He’ll tell you that you have the C4and you need to locate the bumper to plant it. Once you can control your character, follow the yellow marker through the path to the right.Keep following the path until you cross a bridge made of a tree trunk.This will update your quest at the top right to find the bunker.
After crossing the tree bridge, there will be two paths in front of you.Take the path to the left, which will take you to an open field. Turn right in the field and keep following the lower path. You’ll be going against plenty of hostiles in the area, so ensure you defeat them as soon as you can.
If you follow the path for a little while,your quest will update and the yellow marker will show the bunker’s location. Plant a C4 on the door and wait for it to explode. There’ll be smoke covering the area, and three hostiles will be coming out of it, so get ready to spray them down.
Enter the bunker and defeat all the enemies before finding the hole shown above inside the ground.Jump into the hole and keep following the path while you defeat more enemies. Eventually, you’ll get to an open room with four to five soldiers inside. Defeat them all and enter the room.
Ranger gets one grenade for this missionthat’s shown in the bottom right of your screen with the button to throw it.
This room is the perfect place to use this grenade as it’ll kill all the soldiers easily, and you won’t have to take any damage.
You’ll see abox on a table to the left as you enter the room, and this will contain the Red Star. Take the item and head out through the other side. Keep following the yellow marker and you’ll reach the boats to complete the mission.
Last Man Standing Mission Walkthrough
Last Man Standing is a unique mission that will take you to the American soldiers' bunker in the game.You’ll get attacked from all directions at the start, and the game will ask you to hold the left flank. Enter the area with a yellow marker after picking up the M16 and keep mowing down the enemies.
Each M16 magazine will have 100 bullets inside it.You’ll have a long reload time after these bullets are gone, and you’ll only have three magazines at the start.
Since the enemies you defeat will be far away, you may’t pick ammo from their bodies. Instead, you’ll have to use the box where you picked up the weapon to get more ammo.
Eventually, the game willask you to hold the right flank and stay alive. It’s important to not lose all your health during this mission since it’ll fail if you do. The mission will update soon and you have to use the ladder to get to a helicopter, which will finish the mission.
Overrun Mission Walkthrough
The fourth mission in Ranger’s story will be similar, and you’ll already have an M16 at the start of it. Moreover,you won’t need to get more ammo anymore since the game automatically does that. Mow down the enemies while you’re protecting the right and left flank until the quest updates.
Once you finish the third and fourth missions in Ranger’s story,he won’t be available to take on heists anymore.
Eventually, you’ll have a quest to activate the Mortar.Reach the yellow marker and pick up the Mortar Ammo from the ammo box. Launch four ammo using the Mortar and keep defeating enemies until everything blacks out. Ranger will go down into bleeding mode during this, but it’s a part of the mission this time.
After everything blacks out, you’ll see a final cutscene where the GI Captain betrays you and the mission ends.
Operation Red Star Mission Walkthrough
The final mission in Ranger’s story will be five years after the incident, and he’ll be on his way to take revenge. The mission starts withyou controlling a machine gun with 200 rounds in each magazine. Defeat the SWAT officers that come out of the two giant vehicles to proceed to the next part.
You have to leave the machine gun for the next part,but it’s highly recommended to reload it before leaving.
Do this every time you have to leave the gun as it makes the job easier for the next wave.
When you get into the room behind to find the Red Star,you’ll have to defeat three Charlie enemies in the room. Once that is done, start searching the cabinets around the room. After searching a certain amount of cabinets, you’ll have to go back to the machine gun to fend off another attack.
Defeat the Charlie hostiles outside to go back to searching. Once again,three SWAT officers will appear in the room while you’re searching. Defeat the enemies and go through another wave of Charlie enemies to find the item in one of the cabinets. With the item in your hand, follow the yellow marker to escape the area and finish Ranger’s story.
Ranger will completely go away from your crew list after finishing his story,but he’ll leave Red Star as a gift for Travis Baker.
