No fantasy world is truly complete without massive statues of some deity or otherwise important figure. While most of the lands comprisingThe Witcher 3tend to be too impoverished to afford such monuments, Toussaint serves as the exception. In the quest Big Shoes To Fill, you may help complete a monumental statue by rallying the scattered and lost workers from across the province.

This quest consists of five smaller quests, each covering a lost group intended to work on the statue. Each group is ailed by a different issue, ranging from damaged carts to monster attacks, making this a challenging task to complete.

How To Start Big Feet To Fill

Big Feet To Fill isn’t the beginning of Geralt’s involvement in the statue’s construction. That honor belongs toContract: Bovine Blues,which has Geralt hunt a monster that haddropped a cow on a laborer.

Frustrated with a litany of problems that he cannot solve, the project’s overseer will ask Geralt tofind and assist five teamsthat have yet to arrive. They are scatteredaround the north of Toussaint.From here, the quest will have you assist each group.

You canhelp each group without accepting the quest, making it possible for you to have already completed several steps before starting the quest.

The First Group

Consisting ofmaster builders and their valuable tools,the first group has beenbeset by banditsand needs Geralt’s help to be rescued. You will be facing awell-equipped gangthat is equipped with all manner of weapons, fromshields to bows.

The group’smuscles and toolsaren’t just good for carving stone. Theybreak bandits just as well,letting themassist Geraltin the fight.

Defeating the attackers willallow the group to reach their destination,ending this stage of the quest.

The Second Group

These workers are absent not because calamity has befallen them. Instead, they have decided toparty instead of work,stopping their caravan by the side of the road.

Rectifying the situation is easy. Justinteract with each workerto wake them up. Once all five have been roused from their stupor, they willhead for the work site.

The Third Group

You will findtheir abandoned carriage overrun by wolves.After killing the animals, useGeralt’s Witcher Sensesto investigate the tracks around the cart.

They will lead youacross the riverandto a spriggan.Chop it to firewood andinteract with a nearby animal den.The workers are hiding inside.

Spriggans aresimilar to leshens,which are considerably more common in the Northern Realms. Spriggans arevulnerable to fire and Relict Oilas well asDimeritium bombspreventing them from using their powers.

The workers willhead toward their destinationafter being rescued.

The Fourth Group

This group’sabandoned cartshave signs of beingattacked by kikimores,with tracks leading to the monsters' den. Headacross the riverandconfront the monsters.

The workers have beenbound up and killedby the kikimores. Interacting with their bodies willconclude Geralt’s investigation.

verify toburn the kikimores' eggsbefore investigating the bodies. The cutscene will bring youaway from the nest,forcing you to return if you intend on properly exterminating the monsters.

The Fifth Group

Unlike the other groups, this team of workers wason a beached shipand have beencaptured by pirates.You will have tokill all the banditsto free the crew.

This encounter ismade difficult by the abundance of enemies.You should usewhatever skills let Geralt deal with large groups of enemies,such as bombs or Whirl.

After the last bandit has been slaughtered,untie the trader by a treeto conclude this part of the quest.

Completing The Statue

Aseach group reaches the statue,another stage will be completed. By the time you complete all five groups, the monument will be complete and towering over Toussaint.

The overseer will begrateful for Geralt’s helpand gladly provides his payment of800 crowns,concluding the quest.
